Over My Head Boutique is a place where women going through cancer treatment, hair loss and/​or breast surgery can be privately fitted for products to help them look and feel their best!

On staff, we have a Certified Hair Loss Specialist who provides professional and customized wig fittings, as well as Certified Mastectomy Fitters.

Over My Head carries products from multiple manufacturers in the wig and breast care industries and many scarves, hats and ladies’ fashion accessories.

We are an American Board for Certification accredited Durable Medical Equipment Provider, approved by Medicare and «In Network» with most private Health Insurance companies.

History

Established in 1998.

Carol Hoyt opened Over My Head in the Spring of 1998 after going through her own battle with lymphoma. Her goal was to offer women a place where they could find someone who understood what they were going through, and could help them look and feel great at a time in their lives when they needed it the most.

In January 2007 Bethany Golden purchased Over My Head, and continued its tradition of excellence! Caring for women going through cancer treatment has been a passion of Bethany’s since watching her young Mother go through treatment of breast cancer. Bethany’s goal is to help women feel better by giving them back a little confidence and courage!

Bethany has been the owner of Over My Head since 2007. Bethany graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in textiles and clothing. She is a Certified Hair Loss Specialist and Mastectomy Fitter. All fitters at Over My Head participate in continuing education courses each year to maintain the highest level of professionalism and up do date industry information. Bethany specializes in customizing wigs and hairpieces.
