I was not impressed by the gyro’s here. That being said I’ve had gyros all around Europe so I might be more critical of them than the average customer but even for stateside gyro’s that I’ve had this was sub-par at best. I got the large gyro meal that includes a 9 oz gyro and was a little upset at the fact that they use the same size pita for both the regular and large sizes which makes the gyro essentially a pile of meat and veggies that is too difficult to try to eat traditionally. No bathrooms inside, very small place, but not bad in a pinch I suppose since they have a drive through which I liked.

Lots of desserts here, none of which I’ve tried. They look good. One day I’ll have some of the baklava. The gyros and fries are consistently good, generous portions, and warm, as in, give it a minute to cool. I don’t like soft drinks, and they substitute a bottle of water for the drink, which I appreciate. Not every place will do that.

I love the food there, I go like once a week, prices are fair. They recently remodeled the dining room and despite the look of the outside of the building it’s clean and neat on the inside. As a small business owner myself I alway try to patronize family owned establishments. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is they need to clean the restrooms up. I’m in the Construction biz I like to wash up before I eat it looks like they don’t clean in there very often.

Food gets 5⁄5. Customer service seems to be getting worse. Besides the owner and his wife, all the associates here are rude. They hardly greet you and they act like we are bothering them when we come in. Some of the associates, when slow, they stare at you like they want you to leave. If it continues, you’ve lost me as a customer.

I’m not sure why, but this is about the only place I ever get gyros. Makes no since, since I love them here! That being said, I don’t have a lot to compare them to, but I think their gyros are fantastic! Their gyro’s are always packed with meat, lettuce, tomato, onion and their wonderful sauce. Definitely grab an extra napkin! The meat is always tender and delicious. Their fries are seasoned and really good as well. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant that has a fast food design decently deserves from my family! We went in after a lunch rush to be greeted with a very kind man(owner). Placed order, received a generous portioned gyro salad and mini gyro, oh and baklava!!! He came out, sat down with a customer and had a friendly talk about hunting. Such wonderful people here and great food!

Hits the spot every time! The gyro meat is always delicious and tender… never over done. When you open the tin foil the topping are so plentiful they spill out… so do not forget a napkin!

The #7(regular size gyro, drink and fries) hits the spot every time, the manager is very friendly, and the prices are worth it. This place is definitely worth checking out if you have a hankering for a gyro.

This place is great! It’s located in an old Taco Bell. Good gyros, and even better French fries. Cheap eats too

Me: «Hello?» Voice on the phone: «Hey Mike. It’s me. It’s been a while.» Me: «Yeah? Is this who I think it is?» Voice on the phone: «You bet buddy. It’s your Sweet Tooth calling.» Me: «Crap. What do you want this time?» Sweet Tooth: «Baklava. Go and get me a piece of that Pecan Baklava I like. You know, the one with the cherry on top. Actually, make that two, you’ve got an Entertainment Book coupon in your car glove box. They’re about a five minute drive from where you are now.» Me: «Alright, I’m on my way.» So off I go to get a couple pieces of Baklava. If you haven’t had it before, you are missing out. Crispy filo pastry, leaden with sweet honey and some of those sweet/crunch/chewy pecans all rolled together with a Maraschino cherry on top. Theirs is not homemade but it still really good. They were $ 1.89 each but I got two for that price. They tasted great with coffee by the way. So if your Sweet Tooth calls you, I’d recommend you check this place out.

Gyros here are consistently very good. I usually come here every couple of weeks to curb my gyro cravings. I have been to several gyro places around town and this restaurant is the best. The jumbo gyro is massive and a meal unto itself. The mini gyro is a good size for a small lunch. The pita is always soft(not stale), lamb meat is well seasoned(not too much), and they seem to always have the right amount of tzatziki sauce(just to the point that it begins to drip out). The fries are surprising good, though sometimes not seasoned quite enough. And I also recommend the pecan baklava!

I’ll keep this short and sweet — great portions and delicious food! Yes, as stated by all the other Unilocalers, this is an old Taco Bell. Don’t let the outer appearance of the restaurant stop you from enjoying reasonably priced and great tasting food. I’m not familiar with restaurants on this side of Columbus, so I did a Unilocal search, saw a familiar and reliable Unilocaler’s review and decided to check this place out. Glad I stopped in and didn’t let the location keep me from missing out on a delicious gyro and great Greek salad. I got the mini combo which was more than enough food for me, which says a lot — I am a big eater. Good food, great portions, friendly staff, and reasonable prices — my type of place.

I haven’t reviewed this place? really? I love this place as I was reminder why I come back here every few months after I have been going on first dates with other gyros. Why do I love this place? It looks like it shouldn’t be good but it is. The prices are hard to beat. And it reminds me of living in Russia and stopping on the Shawarma stands that sold gyros that would have juice and sauce running down your hands while you walked down the street. The owner is almost always there as well as other family members. The price. I love the jumbo gyro as it is worth the $ 5 and the fries are spiced just perfect. Don’t judge it for being an old Taco Bell or for not being cute. It is reliable, tasty, and a gem all in one. I will keep dating other gyros but I will come back here more often than not. One Negative– I don’t think they have a customer friendly restroom.
