Muddy Paws offers all the services needed to keep the furriest of family members happy and healthy. The goal is to provide a home away from home for pups of all shapes and sizes, a safe place to run, play, eat and sleep (and even partake in dreaded bath time) while mom and dad are away.

Muddy Paws is owned and operated by Jess Evers. She grew up in a small town about an hour north of Forest Lake on a hobby farm. It was the perfect life! Jess was able to gain a multitude of knowledge from that time on the form and she formed a special bond with all the animals which included dogs, cats, cows, horses, pigs, chickens and even a couple of sheep. She knew from a very young age that animals would have some role in her career. After completing her degree in Animal Science at Colorado State University in 2004, she turned down an acceptance into veterinary school and decided to start a family. While her two daughters, Myla and Kenley (now ages 4 and 2) grew, she began to plan for the opening of Muddy Paws. Jess knew that a doggy daycare would be the perfect business for her. It would allow her to surround herself with something that she has a great passion for, caring for animals.
