We specialize in Lionel Postwar model trains. We also offer new and used Lionel, American Flyer, MTH and Marx trains. We repair Lionel and American Flyer trains as well.

History

Established in 2007.

Started in 2007 as an online only model train shop, we soon moved into an actual store front. In 2012 we relocated to a larger retail space and more than doubled our store’s size.

I stopped in after getting some groceries. I love the shop. I’m a novice train enthusiast, but the selection was incredible.
They had exactly what I was looking for, were extremely helpful and very nice.
I will go out of my way to go to this shop.

Moody Street Trains has a very large store next to Weilands Grocery on Indianola Avenue. I met the owner and he knew of Unilocal but he was under the impression that he had some reviews already posted. Anyway it’s a cute shop and I was glad to be the first to review it. He has just tons of trains and train outfits here. I could have spent hours looking at everything. There are engines and rail cars galore! If you’re into model trains this is worth a stop!
