Cold wine, cold bread, iced lettuce and worse yet… Luke warm rigatoni. Never seen anything like this food… or lack thereof.

Chicken Parm Taste so good! Yep! The home made noodles are really good and the tomato sauce is flavorful and savory, also they don’t skimp on the CHEESE! Amazing delivery place for when you’re working late at the office or don’t feel like leaving the house for a good meal. We ordered for the office and they didn’t mess anything up!

I met a business associate at Minellis not so long ago. I grew up in the area and knew the place well. He was not familiar with the area so I wanted to make it easy for him. Get off 270 at Georgesville, hang a right then a right at Sullivant. I started to order pizza but my associate ordered a meatball sub. I had not had one in some time so I decided to order the same. We were talking when the subs came out. He took a bite and stopped talking until he had taken a couple more bites. He is originally from New Jersey so he knows a bit about original Italian food. It has been a number of years since he lived in New Jersey and has lived in a few large cities since. He said the Minellis meatball sub was the best he has had since he left New Jersey. The pizza is just as good. Inside the place looks like what you expect an old school pizza shop to look like. Quaint and quiet. Very nice people. Easy access from 270. Literally right around the corner from the casino.

The staff was friendly and they let us sit way past our time. We had great service… BUT There was a dead flying insect in my iced tea and two ants crawling on me at different times. Someone needs to do some cleaning.

Minelli’s by far has the best pizza in Central Ohio, maybe even Ohio. Their crust is like no other. It is firm, but tender, and the sauce and ingredients are top notch. Plus I have never had poor service. Sure there have been times when they are packed and service may be brief, but it has always been at the least, very good. The rest of the menus is good, or so I’ve been told. I stick with the pizza. And now that we’ve moved to the other side of the county we always make a point for a Minelli’s carry out.

This was our first time dining at Minelli’s. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. Homemade noodles, delicious sauce and a tender meatball. The salad was basic and the meal was served with rolls. The prices were reasonable but didn’t match the menu. We will be back. They also have carry out and delivery.

This place has the best pizza in town, in my opinion. I’ve been out of state the last 7 years and every time I was here in Columbus I would get a pizza from here! If you haven’t tried it, your missing out!

The quest for good, non-chain Italian in the Grove City area continues. This place is not in a great area of town, but we came around 8p when it was dark out and I didn’t feel particularly threatened. They have a larger parking lot, so parking isn’t an issue. The place itself is old and out of date, sort of out of the 60s. When you walk in, it’s pizza pick-up, and the dining room is just a few steps away. It is a separate room, so you don’t have to be right with the carryout folks, which is nice. I do have to say, everyone was super nice, including our waiter. My husband got the homemade spaghetti, and I got the half and half(half spaghetti, half ravioli). For a starter we got cheesy garlic bread. That garlic bread… damn! That gets it the full 3 stars right there. It was so good, greasy, garlicky, cheesy… mmm. Seriously terrible for you, I could tell. A little downside, they obviously cooked it on the foil, which stuck to the bread, so you occasionally had to pick it off. If you’re going to get the spaghetti, make sure you know what you’re getting into. They have homemade, which is what we got, and it is extremely soft, almost mushy. Neither my husband nor I were big fans. They also have«regular» spaghetti, which we didn’t try, but I assume it’s a little more al dente. The ravioli was simply the same stuff they used for the spaghetti, but it worked on a ravioli. The meaty filling was decently seasoned. Along with the meals we got a crappy little iceberg salad(could have done without it) and rolls(not bad). Well, it’s better than Olive Garden. I might come back to try their pizza… and more of their delicious cheesy bread.

I grew up a stones throw from Minelli’s and we went there often, EVERYTHING is good, from the homemade pasta noodles, to the submarine sandwiches, but the best? Their pizza. Amazing. The thin, crispy crust with the cornmeal on the bottom, cannot be beaten. For as long as I can recall The Ferelli family has made great pizza, and this goes for the other location on Wilson Rd too, so good.

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. It’s an old, family-run restaurant. Nothing fancy, but very good. I do have to warn against eating in the restaurant on Fridays. Fish is always the special & you’ll walk out smelling like it!

My review is based on the pizza alone which we had delivered, so I don’t know much about the location itself. We had a mushroom pizza and upon seeing the great reviews, I was really excited to try it. I’ve yet to find a GREAT pizza place near Grove City. I was pretty disappointed. The crust was rubbery under the sauce & the edges were too tough and was very bland. I make pizza at home alot & have made tastier crusts myself from scratch :( The sauce was also very blande & sparse. I hoped for a little more«authentic Italian» tangy flavor. The mushrooms were canned. The only mediocre part was the cheese, which seemed to be a better grade. Perhaps some sort of meat pizza would be more appealing. But the spirit of pizza to me is herbs, cheese & veggies(tomato!) so I’d get a burger if I wanted meat and bread. The people DID seem very nice and the delivery was a zippy 20 minutes! Wow! But from reading all the raving reviews, I was extremely disappointed. So I will continue my search for a great pizza in the Grove City area…

People, this is the spot for an authentic American/Italian lunch, but minus all the fancy décor, dim lighting, and outrageous prices. My hubby’s family were some of the original Italian immigrants to hit the Columbus scene, and I recall stories of his Grandparent’s arguing(playfully) with the owners about watering down the sauce, but Minelli’s was a staple even back in the old days, and it still secures some history for the hilltop area. They make their spaghetti by hand here. It’s something that you need to experience at least once. Their spaghetti has a soft texture to it, almost like you’re slurping down long strands of mozzarella cheese, but MAN, is it good. I would probably come here more if it weren’t for the crappy area it’s located in. It’s bad when you feel relieved to a cop sitting in the corner eating lunch. The lunch I had here was amazing. If I remember it consisted of a salad, bread-sticks, and the spaghetti. Also, I remember it being insanely cheap like under $ 6 – 7. I have yet to try the pizza, but if it’s anything like the spaghetti then my stomach must be missing out on some heavenly pizza goodness. If you like the Florentine, then you’ll find Minelli’s to be an absolute treat.

This place is awesome! Great pizza, ravioli, chicken parmesan, oh and Homemade Spaghetti. Prices aren’t bad either. Small restaurant, friendly staff! A westside tradition!

No website or emails. So if you don’t have a menu, you have to go there or guess! Got the lunch lasagna for my hubby and a cheese pizza to share. Was VERY good. Lasagna came with lame little salad, but the dressing was amazing and flavorful. Prices are great too, I think it was around $ 16 for both. Haven’t eaten in, but it didn’t look too bad. Defiantly a great place to hit up for pizza not from your usual big brand restaurant.

Chilled salad plates! C’mon, it’s great on a hot day. The pizza is yummy, too.
