This is my favorite place to eat. The food is authentic and delicious. There are some basic items for the less adventurous on the menu The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you may have. It’s totally worth the 30 minute drive.

The food is great! The service isn’t exactly the best, but if you frequent true Korean restaurants you’ll know that you don’t necessarily go there for the service. If you want authentic Korean dishes that taste great, especially for the price, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a smaller restaurant with plenty of parking outside. It was clean and the customer service was great. It wasn’t very busy so my take out was ready before I blinked my eyes. The food was flavorful with a lot of spice– just how I like it. My favorite items were the dumplings. Soooo tasty. I’m not going to lie but I was surprised by how good they were. I’ll return one of these days.

I absolutely love this place! You must must MUST order one of the crepes. I swear I might ask for one of their seafood crepes as part of my last supper. For those who don’t know(I didn’t)…A Korean crêpe is similar to a Vietnamese crêpe, Spanish torta, Italian frittata or French open faced omelette. not to be confused with a French crêpe which is a flour batter base. The ladies making the Korean crepes in this establishment earn my respect but more importantly my $$$! Yeah, it’s more than you’d spend at Waffle House for an omelette but you won’t wake up at 3:00 am in the bathroom. Their ingredients(and remember, I’m talking seafood here — fish, octopus, scallops, shrimp, etc) are incredibly fresh and tasty. And the little Korean dumplings? Think pan fried Chinese pot-stickers but with all the goodness from all things Asian Fusion with none of the bad. uh, yeah, hell yeah. More please? Beef hot stone/dolot/bipimbop — call it what you want but that crispy almost burnt rice at the bottom of that bowl coupled with that magical Korean ketchup(yes, I know there is an official word for it) will keep me enchanted forever. Bulgogi — yes and then some! Did I even mention the fish cakes and kimchee? Oh AND the cucumber salad? Nope– no dessert for me or my dining partners As usual for me, had no issue with service, slow by American standards but all around great once they learned I want to learn more about them and their culture. Beer/wine only but decent enough selection to get you through a meal. I’m no expert on Korean food but I am an expert on good food, and this definitely hits the mark on quality — fresh, flavorful, affordable, varietal, and overall yumminess!

I’ve been coming to this place for years and it rarely disappoints. The food is always solid and service is pretty good. I usually rotate between the beef bulgogi and the kalbi. Oh and add the kimchi pancake! He banchan is pretty standard fare, nothing too exciting here. Overall it’s just a solid meal. The only major issue I have is the price. The prices for a single dish here are what I’m accustomed to seeing for AYCE places so that’s kind of a bummer. If you’re craving Korean food not a bad option!

Short review: poor service, mediocre food that comes in small portions, but overpriced. Full review: I’ve been here twice. The first time I was here, my friend got her food without any seasoning. I thought my food was mediocre at best. Six month later, we decided to give this place a second try. Turned out to be just the same, except our waitress was not friendly at all. She never bothered smiling, was not attentive, and was absent-minded. Food was just all right, but the portions are small, at least smaller than other Korean restaurants. My Galbi Tang(Galbi soup) only had two pieces of overcooked Galbi in it. There were plenty of vermicelli at the bottom. It was $ 13 though! We spent ~$ 40 but got two suckers as dessert. That’s right! Two suckers! Other tables got orange slices! WTF Go to other Korean restaurants, seriously.

I love it! The food was great, the staff were so kind! I went there at night and order Pork Bulkoki, that was really awesome!!! Side dishes were a lot. And they have free rice! Really happy! And will go back again! 100% recommend!

I’m not very experienced with Korean food but I’m a fan now. My husband and I really enjoyed the Seafood Pancake, which could be a meal for 2 by itself. We tried the LA Kalbi — delicious! The bi-bim-bap didn’t make much of an impression. There was a ton of stuff on it but it tasted sort of bland. The many side dishes were yummy. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Columbus.

It really hurts to give this place such rating– but you got to do what you got to do. I kind of wish I didn’t hear raving reviews of this restaurant– then maybe I wouldn’t have expected too much from it. We came on a Sunday afternoon. It was bustling with people. I understand that things can get hectic when you’re busy, but there’s no reason to be rude. The busy waitress talked to us as if our presence was unwanted. She told us to go fetch a table in the back– when we walked back and saw no tables open we just stood in the small hallway until she directed us again. We finally made eye contact and with annoyance she said«I said in the back» while pointing to the other room. Mind you– it’s our first time so how was I supposed to know? Luckily– she wasn’t our waitress and someone else tended to us. She was polite & friendlier than the previous. They have an extensive menu with all of the staple food items you’ll find in a Korean restaurant. My go to at new places is always dolsot bibimbap cause it’s hard to mess up on that. My table also ordered the galbi tang, godeunguh gui, & kalbi. The dolsot was great– but the layer of rice was really thin. The galbi tang had huge chunks of meat, but other than that– the entire dish lacked flavor. I didn’t get the try the other two dishes.

Simply the finest authentic Korean cuisine you can get in Central OH. The hardest part is trying new things because the dishes are so good you’ll want to stick with your favorites. The signature stone pot bibimbap is great you can’t go wrong there. I’m also fond of their bulgogi stir fry, soondae guk, bokum, and zam bong noodles. The meals come with an assortment of kimchi dishes which are are also very good. The service staff is great and the place is clean and relaxing. This is my family’s favorite restaurant and will continue to be for the future.

This was not my first time here. I knew the service is bad and the dish came out very slow. But I still gave it another shot. However, the experience makes me decide never to come back again. We waited 45 minutes until our first dish came out! I was really freaked out after two of the other tables who came in after us received their food before us. I asked them why, the answer is «our order was behind them!» However, the truth was they forgot to put in our order u tile they found out! What’s worse? They refused to admit their mistake and kept claiming that there was nothing they can do. The attitude was really bad! Then, even after the food came out. There was no service, no refill of the drink, no more rice and they didn’t even come and check us in the next one hour while we are eating!!! I will definitely not come back again! Actually there are several better Korean restaurants here in Columbus, like Silla, like Shanshui. They all have much better food and service!

Pretty great place for Korean food in town. I usually get the tofu stew at these kind of places, but ventured out of my comfort zone and tries out the Kalbi Tang today. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the soup was. It’s basically just beef soup with clear broth, radishes, vermicelli, a bit of eggs, and green onion. The broth was absolutely delicious and light. It went great with the rice. The radishes were very thinly sliced and had a great slightly sweet flavor. The only part that was a bit disappointing was the Kalbi, which was kind of overcooked and lacked flavor. If you were to get this dish, I would suggest doing what I did, which was get a side of soy sauce you can dip the beef in, instant flavor enhancement. Otherwise, the soup itself more than made up for the lackluster of the beef, so I just proceeded to ignore the Kalbi and just thought of it as more of a flavor thing for the soup Definitely planning on going back to try out other dishes

I love this restaurant. Delicious food in a quiet and unassuming location. The food is always hot and fresh and the service is prompt. Great price for the amount and quality of food that you receive. Also a great selection of beers from Asia.

Although Min-Ga may look pretty forgettable and unassuming on the outside, don’t let its appearance fool you! Behind its doors hides one of the best Korean restaurants that you’ll find in Columbus(can’t decide if the top crown goes here or to Silla — they excel at different things, so it’s a bit hard to compare oranges to grapefruits). My dad and I came here around noon so that we could snag some of those awesome lunch specials other reviewers have raved about. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap and my father ordered the Galbi lunch combo. While the bibimbap is a bit lacking in variety of veggie toppings, they’re still quite generous with portion size. Furthermore(and this is my favorite part), the stone pot is so sizzling hot that it actually cooks your rice to a nice, burnt, crisp! I haven’t found a single other store here that does that! I could not get enough of my crispy rice, and may or may not have been scraping at the bottom of the bowl for the last remaining grains. I’m definitely coming back just for this bibimbap alone! The galbi itself isn’t anything too crazy(solid, and you get a lot of very large pieces, but it won’t wow your mind), although the lunch combo comes with so many tasty apps that you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth just in quantity alone. Ours had two ridiculously huge gimbap, two giant mandu, and additional servings of seaweed, bean sprouts, and pickled lettuce. Even better, each of those items was incredibly fresh and tasty. I had absolutely zero complaints, and my tongue is still dancing in happiness. The only downside about lunch is that you only get 5 banchan(fish cake, seaweed, potatoes, kimchi, daikon in our case) rather than the typical 8 – 10 that accompanies the regular menu items. Then again, considering how much food you’re getting in your lunch specials, maybe it’s best not to overload on the side dishes. I do appreciate variety, but it’s not an end-all-be-all for my meal. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. Most dinner dishes are around $ 11 – 15 and come with 8 – 10 sides(fish cake, seaweed, potatoes, kimchi, cucumber, sprouts, etc.). I had the kimchi jigae(pickled cabbage, tofu, and rice noodle soup) this Saturday and my friend got the soon dubu(spice seafood and tofu soup). Both came out boiling in clay pots with sides of rice. Neither of us got an egg to crack into our soups, which I usually enjoy doing at Korean restaurants. My dish was very flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness and vinegary tang. Portions were pretty big – I took about half of my soup home to have for lunch the next day. I’ve also gotten the seafood pancake and beef bibimbap here, both of which were some of the best I’ve had in Central Ohio.

Mediocre bordering on the lesser end of mediocre. I almost feel like they started this restaurant not because they had a great cook or good food ideas but because they could. It really shows. Fish soup was pretty FISHY in a bad kind of way and the bulgogi pork was just flaccid sort of looking not grilled well. Ive cooked better meals following blindly an online recipe. Whoever is cooking has no sense of taste. Would not come here again especially since I’ve had delicious Korean food and know what to expect and this is not it. It’s not a one star since its not terrible but it’s just sort of food for the sake food which happens to be Korean.

Great little lunch spot! So far my favorite Korean restaurant in Columbus. Haven’t been here for dinner yet but this place has a bunch of lunch specials so I’ll probably come back to try some more. The lunch specials range from around $ 7-$ 11 and come with 5 side dishes(kimchi, radish, potatoes, cucumber, fish cake) which were decent. As for main dishes, so far I’ve tried the soon dubu(spicy seafood stew with tofu) and my friend’s doenjang jjigae(soybean paste-based broth with seafood and veggies) — both were excellent! My soon dubu was flavorful and spicy(probably not spicy enough for spicy-lovers, I have a low spice threshold) and had a lot of clams, squid, scallops, and silky soft tofu. No soft egg though. It stayed piping hot throughout the meal and was a pretty big portion for $ 8.95. The doenjang jjigae also had lots of flavor(non-spicy) but was slightly smaller. Someone next to us got the spicy ramen lunch special and it looked amazing, so I will probably get that next time I come here: P

I can’t say this was a great experience, nor my favorite place. Walking into the restaurant, you’re hit in the face with an overpowering aroma of fish… and not fresh fish. I will say that I am a vegetarian so I may be hypersensitive, but the meat eaters of our group expressed the same concern. My husband and I ordered bibimbap without meat. It was ‘ok’… I have had much better. The meateaters like their pork and chicken meals, but agreed that they wouldn’t return. I am on day two of not feeling well post this meal… and I don’t think it’s a coincident.

I had never had Korean before, but my friend suggested I try it so we took a chance by going to a random restaurant. And boy, did we get lucky! The food was delicious. I just ordered Number 1 on their lunch specials menu because I had no idea what anything was. That was like $ 11. It came with plenty of food. I took some home. The meat was so flavorful and the many sides were very interesting. Although I did not like all of those sides lol. The dumplings that came with my lunch box were Tha Bomb! I can’t wait to go back and order just a bunch of those dumplings. The service was pleasant. Our server was a little hard to understand, but I don’t mind that. She knew what we wanted so it was all good. The food was also out pretty quickly. Overall, I’ll be going back there for sure.
