McDonald’s

I rolled in on a beautiful Friday right smack in the middle of lunch rush. Those guys HUSTLE, let me tell ya! Long drive-​through line but super-​quick getting through — big smiles from everyone and the food was HOT HOT HOT and perfect.
Great job! I’ll be back !!!

This is the worst McDonald’s of all time.
Though it’s not a popular thing to say out loud, I kind of love McDonald’s normally. I’m not a hater. Usually I get a consistent product, friendly service, and quick convenience. It’s not a road trip or a hangover without an egg McMuffin, amirite? If I’m at a McDonald’s (which I do try to limit), it’s because I’m in a hurry or I have a VERY SPECIFIC craving.
You will not get ANY of these benefits from this McDonald’s. I will say they’re consistent though… CONSISTENTLY TERRIBLE! The food items come out poorly most of the time, which is shocking because of how much I’m sure Corporate tries to regulate consistency of the product (and most locations, all things considered, do a great job of this). Cold McMuffins, soggy fries, that kind of thing.
Staff is not friendly, and really can’t be bothered with you. There’s no hurry to fill your order or get caught up with a long line. They shuffle along as though stuck in molasses. I feel like I must be experiencing time on a completely different plane. There’s been visits where it’s pretty apparent the employee is high while at work.
Every time I go, I swear to never come back to this location. But then some circumstances lead me back (this is the most convenient location to my house), and I think «well, just this one last chance.» This is my official notice to my future self to AVOID this McDo forever. Those things that typically lead me to the golden arches — the occasional guilty treat with fast, friendly service? Can’t be found here, so stop looking. Everything that’s bad about McDonald’s, with NONE of the redeeming qualities.
My last (and final!) visit was pretty typical for this location. It took 5 minutes before someone was even at the counter to order, and then at least 15 minutes to get our food. If I hadn’t been so hungry I felt like dying, I wouldn’t have stopped in the first place — but it made those shortcomings all the more intense for me. Blech.
With such systemic failings, there must be an issue at the management level.

Worst McDonald’s ever by far, always very slow and poor service. Disparity between this and others is amazing.

This McDonald’s is the most convenient for where I live, at certain times. Mostly evenings. Every time I come here, there is an issue. From being out of something, something not working, or items missing from my order. Employees need a long lesson on customer service. This is ridiculous and unacceptable, even for McDonald’s.

If I could give zero I would. I waited 30 minutes for my food. I thought McDonald’s was supposed to be fast food.

They are terrible! They never get the order right and take forever.

Worst Mcdonald’s ever!!! I’ve been here a few times and it’s consistently horrible service; long waits, messed up orders. It’s Mcdonald’s, my expectations are low but this place is beyond belief with their poor service. Who is running this place!!! It’s disheartening to know this review won’t change anything but I have nothing better to do with my time while I’m sitting in the drive through for a half hour!

So far waiting 20 minutes for 2 combo meals. A line of 8 people with one cash register going. It’s not a good place in the mornings because the local homeless come to wait out the day. They don’t even put anything on a tray it’s bagged as to go. If I had known this I would have gone through Drive-​thru. Under staffed and thereby under cleaned. Unless you don’t have a better mcdonalds to go to… you should.

I’ve come here numerous times and there has ALWAYS been problems. First off, a homeless man walks behind my car and orders food, to which I tell the attendant that the last item is not mine. When I get to the window I find out she not only charges me for it but tells me she can’t reverse it. Next, I order a grilled chicken with a side salad and light French. But I get a crispy chicken with a side salad, that was past the expiration date BTW, with ranch. I will rather drive to German Village and get what I want than patron this establishment again!!!

Ok I know this is McDonalds and I really shouldn’t expect anything more than a hot meal. So you know this place sucks royal butt when you cant even get that. Stopped here for a quick meal before my late afternoon class and ended up waiting for almost 20 minutes in the drive thru behind…4 other vehicles. When it was finally my turn to get my food I was rather surprised to find that it was barely luke warm. Nothing taste better than cold crap in a bun.

If I could give no stars I would. This place is terrible but so close to my house I keep going back hoping something will have chaged. The staff is rude, the food is cold almost everytime and the ice cream machine is always broken.

This McDonalds lacks a lot. I sometimes have to hit this place up in the early mornings on my way to my second job. Its always crowded, but they do move the drive thru line good enough. My biggest complaint with this location is the lack of customer service. The girl taking the orders and money usually is nice enough, but 9 times out of 10, the women passing out the food are rude! I don’t expect a lot of customer service from drive thru attendants, but they don’t even offer a simple greeting such as, «Good morning.» What really pisses me off is when I say «Thank you,» and I receive no response! They’re the ones getting paid to be courteous.

Shouldn’t be allowed to operate… Order a Café’ Mocha, receive a regular coffee. Order a large, get a medium. Order a burger, get chicken. I’ve given this place multiple chances and every time something is wrong. Not to mention the people are rude. Drive 10 minutes to the next one. It will be worth your money.

This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with fast food. Granted, I know it is in the nature of the beast. I never get fast food because 1) it is unhealthy and b) I get service like this… I am not a tough critic nor a complainer, but this was unacceptable.
I do not know where to begin and I do not want to waste much more time than this. Did not get half my meal, made to feel bad about it by employees… WHAT!!! Needless to say, I was not happy.
NEVER EAT THIS CRAP! And if you must do not go here!

WOW… the drive thru service could not be any more rude. Just say I am sorry.

This is quite possibly the WORST McDonald’s in Columbus.
You cannot go through the drivethru in under 15 minutes (believe me, I’ve tried numerous times), and often, your order is wrong even after the incredibly long wait.
Inside, it’s a little better, at least as far as the wait goes, but not much.
Go to Donatos across the street — you’ll eat sooner.

Super close to many businesses downtown, and a convenient walk for me. I totally agree with Lauren and Ryan, extremely slow waits. It’s your standard McDonald’s food. You have some nice workers, some are okay, and some are rude. Expect to wait 15 to 30 minutes during busy times as they’re really slow.
I’d rather go to another place, though. :).

Passing through Columbus, I look for sustenance. Something to get me through the 3 hours left in my layover and then the two hour bus trip back to Cincinnati. I check out Unilocal to find a decent spot to get said sustenance.
McDonald’s? In downtown Columbus? And not inside another, larger office building (lord knows there are many of those around)??? I’m sold.
So, I walk a few blocks east. Find the McDonald’s on the southeast corner of Main and Grant. Okay, cool. Find my way in (not a hard feat once I figure out the setup of the doors), discover they have McGriddles. Mmmmmmm… McGriddles. Again, I’m sold. I order the meal, sit down, and dig in.
The familiar taste hits my tongue, sweet and soft, yet cheesy and a little bit tough. This is good. I finish downing my meal, and head for the door. My mission is accomplished, and I’ll make it through my next five hours on the road before I need to stop again.

conveniently located walking distance from my apt, this is a great place to stop and get coffee before attending class at Franklin. They are usually verrrryyyyyy slow though. so don’t go if you are in a hurry.

Worst experience at a McDonalds in some time. Messed up a simple order of two sweet teas. Gave me unsweetened teas instead. Then getting it fixed took almost half an hour of waiting in the slowest drive-​thru line ever (the dining room was closed). Go ANYWHERE else.
