I had the special weekend grilled chicken meal. Soooooooooo good. Loved the beans and mango salsa too.

Living right down the street, we’re almost regulars here! The food is fantastic and Lidia is an awesome person! Their tacos are the real deal, but that quesadilla tho! The chicken quesadilla is my favorite thing on the menu. It’s big and packed full of chicken & cheese. The chicken is so tasty, hot & fresh. It also comes w/a side of rice. The chorizo is no joke. I’m serious, I’ve not found chorizo better than Potosinos. Get a chicken quesadilla & a chorizo taco. One warning: the hot salsa is no joke. Definitely a habanero salsa. Very tasty, but it will light you up! Damn… I’m getting hungry! The last time I was there, their credit card thing wasn’t working. Lidia recognized me and gave me my food anyway and let me come back the next day with cash. You won’t find that much these days. That kind of thing makes a customer for life. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I came here a few weeks ago for a group outing. I was very hyped up about this taco truck as it came highly recommended by fellow Unilocalers with excellent taste. Lidia, the owner, was super nice and friendly. However, I don’t think the truck was ready to handle 20 orders in such a limited amount of time. As a result, my tacos were a little cold and dry. However, the taste was definitely there. I enjoyed my chorizo tacos the most. I just wished the food was a little warmer and the tortillas were softer. I believe I came on an «off night.» The glowing reviews on Unilocal don’t match up to my one-time experience, so i’ll be back to try their food again!

This place is right down the street from my house and since I moved during the winter, I didn’t get a chance to try it until now. The tacos are amazing, even the rice and beans was pretty good. I know it’s hard to mess up rice, but I’ve had some pretty bad rice from restaurants lately for some reason. The green hot sauce/salsa was the absolutely truth. There are also some nice picnic tables underneath a covered area if you want to eat there. There is plenty of street parking around here as well.

Delicious burrito packed with flavor. The options seem limited, but solid. Could not find the tamarind water. :/

I love this place! The food is delicious and cheap! It is right down the street from my home so it is great to grab lunch or dinner on the way home from work. Sometimes service is frustrating, but the food is always on point. They have the best chorizo in town by far! The tacos are traditional taco truck style so you may want to get 2 or 3. I’ve heard rumors they are not returning for the spring/summer this year and I really hope that’s not true. I’m begging you guys to return for the season!

Get 2 of each tacos and wash it down with a sidral mundet soda. Your taste buds and going to high five you. Also get the charcoal grilled chicken. The only place in town that does it like that

I got to visit this place a little while back, and the grilled chicken, like everyone else says, was phenomenal. It was grilled perfectly with some massive flavor. I ended up getting chorizo tacos as well, since I wanted to try some other things, and those were great too. I may have overdone it though, because the chicken lunch/dinner I had was quite filling, and it came with tortillas, so I could make my own little tacos. I’m perfectly fine with getting too much food though, especially when it tastes as good as this. I’ve been to quite a few taco trucks around Columbus before this, and this was instantly one of my favorites, so I’ll definitely have to go back and try some of the other dishes. I will say they should really either put the sign higher on the truck or move the tents, because you can’t really see what the truck is except for the small sandwich board on the side of the street. The area around there looks like it’s starting to really build up, and I’m sure with the Long St. bridge opened, this place will definitely get more traffic!

You might not expect it based on the look, but the food is fantastic. The pulled chicken is delicious and highly recommended.

Only had the food twice but definitely plan to be back! Had the corn cob and veggie tacos! Wanted to try the tamarind water but they were all out. It was pouring down rain while I ordered and Lidia welcomed my friend and I into the truck while we waited for our food! So incredibly kind — and delicious food that is vegetarian friendly!

I like the fact that they keep Mexican food, close to what it supposed to be, if you want authentic, you obviously have to take a trip down south of the border. This is as good as it gets in our nick of the woods. You should really try the Tacos Rojos Potosinos with Pollo al Carbon! Yeah it’s long, but here’s your chance to practice your Spanish!!! Or you can show this to the nice lady taking your order and cooking your food. The truck look is not inviting, but trust me, it’s worth it. Sorry, no pics. This time, we dug in to it to fast.

This truck is on Long by the Lincoln Theatre. They are obviously proud people and are so nice and so hospitable. If you have your car they will bring it to you. The food is inexpensive and wonderful.

Food truck near my house?(Compared to on the other side of town.) Of course I’m there! I got a chicken dinner, which I thought was a good value for 8 dollars. I chowed down and at the whole thing — it was a lot of food, but I’m eating for two. :-) The chicken wasn’t fresh off the grill, but I wasn’t expecting that on a relatively slow weekday. It was still pretty tasty! I’d come back to try some tacos.

I had the chicken quesadilla. It was flavorful. You must try the habanero onions and especially the spicy guacamole sauce. For $ 6, this is a lunchtime bargain. I also had the tamarind water. ONLY get this if you like very sweet drinks. Mine could have used 75% less sugar. I’ll be back.

Just a quick update: I was there last night with another group of friends and Lidia and her team were so hospitable! They continued to check on us to make sure we had enough tortillas, sauce, and food. This time I tried the chicken dinner – fantastic and a steal at $ 8. You get two pieces of grilled chicken, rice, beans, salad, and some tortillas. I couldn’t quite finish all of it, and the guys I was with were saying they were stuffed after eating. You may have to do a bit of digging to find her hours, but I think she typically closes around 7:00. (If you plan to bring a group, give them a heads-up on their FB page.)

Lidia, the owner, is an awesome person with an inspiring personal story. I was proud to see the documentary, Transfusion(look for it in 2014), featuring her and her truck. But how is the food? The taco rojos are excellent. The salsa it comes with is quite spicy, so prepare yourself for that. The tamarind water is also very unique and tasty. I definitely want to go back to try their breakfast menu and enjoy a Mexican Coke.

I’ve been to this location twice. Very solid tacos, if not earth-shattering(my favorite is the chorizo – yum), plus Mexican Coke. The vegetarian tacos, if I recall correctly from when Melanie B. was here visiting, have rice and maybe beans(?) instead of meat. The service has been a bit inconsistent. The first time I visited, I got fresh salsa(it was delicious) to go on my tacos; the next time, I didn’t get any. It can take awhile to get your tacos. And they sometimes don’t want you to pay until after you eat(which I kind of hate, as it means I have to get up and stand at the counter twice – but that’s how a lot of trucks do it, and I love tacos more than I hate inconvenience). Depending on the day or time of day, they might have a limited menu. The first day I went with Bryant M., and they had breakfast burritos; when I went back, they only had a limited taco menu. If they had competition in the area, I’d probably look less favorably at their truck; however, since they’re only a few blocks away and their tacos ARE tasty enough, you’ll see me there sometimes.

These guys are awesome! The real deal; Delish and super affordable. Today I had 3 vegetarian tacos, Mexican corn(an ear of corn rolled in sour cream with cheese and chili powder) and a tamarind water– all for just $ 7. So yummy. They have a tent and outdoor seating so go there now.
