K.D. Yoder & Associates

I’ve had two experiences with K. D. Yoder & Assoc. and both were positive! They are a great company to work with because the employees really care about your satisfaction and their prices can’t be beat! They do mostly just siding and windows and doors, but can handle many install jobs.
I first hired Yoder when I first purchased my home. It was a HUD forclosure and required to the siding to be repaired of hail damage from an escrow account within 30 days of me possessing it. Well, what do I know about siding? I called a few places, Yoder being one of them. The first place, a guy came out & told me the whole side of my house had to be resided because they didn’t make the siding I had anymore. He quoted me $ 3000. Then, Yoder came out (the owner Kurt, who is just the nicest guy, and his assoc, Roger) and assessed my situation. They asked me questions about the age and maker of my home, made some calls, and found my siding! They got the job done right away and for $ 300 less than my escrow and $ 2100 less than that other guy. Also, when I found they missed a spot, I called and they came out right away to fix it. No questions asked.
It was natural I’d hired them again when I recently had my windows replaced. I got two quotes and of course they beat the other guys price by a mile. Duke, my sales rep was great. He was really customer service oriented and had genuine concern for what was best for me and my home without up selling me at all! They worked hard to complete the job by the deadline, which was one month from my ordering date. I wanted them in before a vacation trip. Well, there was some problems with the order (one window was ordered wrong) and Pete, my installer, found some questionable quality with some of the windows pieces and wouldn’t install them til things were right. While I found all the glitches annoying, I was glad they were really concerned about quality! Well, after the first wave of the install I came across some more issues. So, I called Duke and he addressed all my concerns compassionately and when they came back to finish the job (3 weeks beyond the deadline) he made sure everything was perfect before they left (even repainting the window frames) and told me to call if anything needed changed. Well, they did a great job and I have no complaints.
Their manager, Tammy, is always very sweet and gets your requests handled quickly. They all communicate with you really well and keep you informed about the job. They do their homework for you. They charge honest prices. They make sure the job is right. I would recommend K. D. Yoder to anyone!
