Specialties
Our groomers have had years of experience grooming many pets. Good Dog Grooming specializes in puppy grooming and puppy work! When you start getting your puppy groomed at an early age, it sets a precedent that promotes good behavior for all future grooms. By being calm and gentle and teaching your puppy the correct behavior for grooming, it makes it a rewarding and enjoyable experience for your pet. We don’t yell, hit, or scare the dogs into submission to groom them. A puppy’s first groom is its most important groom. Our experience with dogs ensures your puppy’s first groom is a comfortable and rewarding experience. If you have just adopted a puppy or are considering doing so, keep in mind that a puppy should be groomed around three months of age. The sooner the better.

Meet the Business Owner
Julie G.
Business Owner
Julie is a fourth generation dog groomer and has been
grooming for over 20 years. Good Dog Grooming by Julie is a
dream come true! Being owner and operator of the little
shop in Minerva Park has allowed Julie’s grooming skills to
shine. Her professional skills, caring ways, and sunny smile
make clients and their four-legged family members
comfortable from the beginning. Your pet is always Julie’s
first concern, and she will make every effort to make the
grooming experience an enjoyable one. Both Julie’s great grandfather
and grandfather raised and showed Kerry Blue Terrier’s in
Ireland. Her mother was the one who passed on the love of
dogs to Julie, she bred, raised, and showed Afghan Hounds
and Lhasa Apsos. Julie has been around dogs since she was
a child; her mother, a groomer for over 40 years, taught Julie
everything she knows.
