Honda East

We have bought two cars from Lindsay Honda in the past. We have a growing family and decided to go look at a Honda Odyssey and Pilot this evening after looking at other options. When we got there we had two eager sales people rush onto the lot, and when we told one of them that we wanted to test drive the two vehicles they went inside got the keys, and came back out. I then stated I wanted to drive the car and then we had to go inside to sign the typical release. I’m not sure why the salesman was surprised I wanted to drive the car, and it took forever to get the paperwork done. While my husband was waiting outside he stated to the MGR that we had bought two previous cars from them and once I made a decision we intended to buy a car. He did note that the vehicle we were about to take for a test drive was all scuffed up, needed vacuuming and had an odor to it. Really, this is your test drive car? Well, they wouldn’t let us drive the car off the lot by ourselves, sighting they just changed the policy today. Neither of us likes to have the salesman in the car when we test drive because we like to be able to talk about pros, cons, what we like about the car without someone interjecting. They were firm we could not take the car off the lot. Needless to say, we’re going to find out tomorrow if Marysville is closer than we think.

Nice waiting room; it’s like a screening room. VG WiFi that needs Password access. They have it posted. Service Techs very helpful. I made an appointment for the express before I went. I had a coupon. Rousch Honda has free popcorn!

This review is specifically for the service department, as I have no experience with the sales arena of this dealership.
As a new and first-​time Honda owner, I was looking for a reputable place to take my car for routine maintenance. I called about a week ahead of time to schedule an oil change and transmission flush. I got a price quoted and scheduled an appointment (had my pick of time, and they have very late evening hours, as they have a «night shift»). I called a few other places afterwards to check pricing of the services, and no one could even come close to Honda East’s prices. So I stuck with my appointment.
When you get to the service department, you pull right in to the service bay, where one of the fully-​staffed service crew members will check you in, while someone else takes the computer reading form your car, and tops of washer fluid, etc.
Before they pulled my car out of the original bay to complete service, they gave me the exact price everything would cost. When he showed me the quite, I told him I was quoted a different price over the phone, and he honored that price. Asked if I wanted a car wash– for free! Umm, yes please.
I was then escorted to the lounge, where there was plenty of super comfy leather seating, multiple nice tv’s, two of which were hooked up to game systems. The staff in the office kept coming around and checking to make sure everyone was ok on drinks (free water, coffee, soda, and capri sun for the kids, too!)
Everyone is very friendly, and the nice lounge made waiting for my car to be done very enjoyable. And the price can’t be beat. I’ve found my regular car shop. Yay!

Took my Honda here yesterday to have some repairs done and it was probably one of the best car repair experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was very nice, they offered sodas and waters to the people in the waiting rooms and they even offer a shuttle service (which I used because I’m impatient, I don’t like sitting around waiting) to take you anywhere you want to go. They also offer rental cars, but my car was only going to take an hour or two, so opted for the shuttle service and went and got something to eat and did a little bumming around a few shops and when I was ready to head back, I simply called the shuttle service, told them where I was and they came and picked me up and took me back to Honda East.
I also received a complimentary car wash and fluids top-​off with my repair.
They quoted me for some work I need done to my car and it’s less expensive than other places I’ve checked. A nice, stress-​free experience all the way around.

I’ve leased two cars at Lindsay Honda (formerly Honda East) and have been impressed with their focus on customer service both during the sales process & later at the service department. Each employee goes out of their way to make every client feel important and appreciated. There are several Honda dealers in the Columbus area, but I always head back to Lindsay because they always let me know how much they appreciate my business.

Great repair service, but I have yet to purchase a car there. i can always get a better deal at other Honda dealers in the area.

The whole dealership runs like it’s on its own time-​table, so expect to be there longer than you normally would, but this is otherwise a great location to hunt for a car.

This review is for this dealerships parts department. I had a sensor go out on my 2002 civic. I called Lindsay Honda to ask if they had the part and what the price is. «$ 125» the the man replied. Yikes!!! Seemed like a lot of money for a little plastic part. I then called Roush Honda and asked for the price of the same exact part. Roush Honda’s price, $ 60. Thanks for trying to rip me off, Lindsay.

My coworker recommended Lindsay Hinda (Honda East) when I was in the market for a car. She told me how they were honest and had great deals. Well, she was right. I went in there and was not pressured at all. They had the best price on an Accord lease in the area. Everything was cut and dry, nothing sneaky or underhanded and everything was handled by the Honda Finance Co., no strange unheard of financiers. Brad, my sales guy still calls occasionally to check on my satisfaction and is there if I need anything handled. I know I’ll go back to him when my lease is up in 2013. Obviously, when you do good business, you get repeat business.
On to the service department. Excellent, Prompt, they speak to you in plain English. They put everything in writing so, there’s no surprises. Lots of amenities while you wait and you have an assigned service concierge so you always have a point of contact about your service! It’s really great to have a Honda from Lindsay!
Basically, at Lindsay, I know I am going to get the best, fair deal, and honest service with a smile.

Friendly staff, non-​pressure sales, excellent service. If you are in the market for a new Honda (or even a used car), make Honda East a stop on your list.
Made me the best offer and gave me the most for my trade-​in than any other Honda dealer in the area. Never once was the offer «only good for today» like other dealers push. Financing was explained in clear English and the process was fluid. My next car will come from Honda East.
