At the Columbus or Pittsburg, KS (Kansas) dental office of Dr. Robert D. Herron, we are passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles. Our practice provides exceptional preventive and restorative dental treatments always in a professional, honest, and friendly manner. We have a wonderful team who personally greets every patient as they come through the door. Behind each smile is a dental professional who is exceedingly competent in their job and looks forward to serving the needs of our patients. Our goal is to treat everyone as we would want our own family to be treated.
History
Established in 1989.
Dr. Herron is a native of Columbus, KS, graduating from Columbus Unified High School in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Pittsburg State University in 1985 and continued on to dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989. Since completing his formal education, Dr. Herron has continued his studies through a mini residency at the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain as well as by attending seminars and training with Invisalign® and CEREC®.

Dr. Robert Herron is passionate about helping people feel better and look better through high quality dental care. Whether it is to alleviate pain or allow a patient to be proud of their smile, all aspects of patient care are important to him. Dr. Herron has been proudly serving the Columbus community for 23 years and looks forward to many more years to come building relationships with and beautiful smiles for everyone he meets.
Dr. Herron’s wife, Lori, has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years and currently works at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. He has a married daughter, Andrea, who lives in Pittsburg, KS with her husband Ty. Dr. Herron’s son, Kurt, is completing a biology degree at Pittsburg State University and his youngest daughter, Liesl, is beginning her college career in the fall of 2012 at Pittsburg State University.
