Greater Move Columbus

HORRIBLE!!! please don’t use… I got them using a voucher from living social but they cost me more than I saved. First the showed up 2.5 hrs late. Then they broke my glass table and my dryer. They didnt even tell me about the broken table (I know they knew they broke it) and they promised to fix my dryer. My dryer was $ 300 dollars to repair and the table was $ 150. Many phone calls later and emails and NO RESPONSE… they must be blocking my calls. This isn’t even a real moving company they don’t even have an address. Just some guys who are un honest horrible people who don’t know how to run a business. Pay more don’t make the mistake I did!

We got a Living Social deal for 4 hours of moving. The company asked us to supply a list of everything that we would want moved. We compiled a very detailed list with every item we had. When the movers showed up they seemed annoyed in the amount of things that we had. Mind you we spent the entire week before moving the small things ourselves. Each time they went to move an item they would reluctantly ask if it needed to go. They dropped boxes and personal things went everywhere. I actually found my USB drive for grad school in the driveway the following morning. They couldnt get our box springs up the stairs and just stood around for a while wasting time. They left a ton of the larger items in the hallway (we are small girls which is why we hired movers). We went over our time by 10 minutes and they advised us it would be $ 90. After we complained they called the «manager» and they allowed us to only be charged $ 45. Then they insisted in be paid in cash. It was a bit outrageous when they took their time the entire move and even stood around. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Movers are very unprofessional with no regard to your belongings.

I had a 2 hour move special for Greater Move Columbus. The initial contact to schedule the move was done promptly. On the move day, they arrived early, were friendly, helpful and efficient. I would give them 3.5 stars if I that were an option.

Save yourself and find another company to work with. You get what you pay for. We also bought 4 hours for 200.00 off of crowd savings. com. I’ll skip the small stuff.
Scheduled for a Saturday @ noon. Didn’t show up until 5. One of the 2 workers was hungry and left the job site to go eat. Was told I would not be paying any overage on time. Was also informed that we were the 3^rd job of that day so they were spent. M wife and I saw that there was no way they would be able to do it themselves so we literally worked alongside them to hurry it up. (Didn’t we pay for this service?), fast forward nearly 6 hours later, yes 11pm. Bills me for extra hour even after saying he wouldn’t. Does not move entire house and never offers to come back the next day. I personally said it’s not about the money, we just need this stuff moved. The owner operator seemed nice enough but the service was so bad that I feel I must warn others. Don’t not use this service.
On that Saturday I called 8 times begging for a callback before getting a call. While they moved us they had their phone set to speaker and were chatting with someone as they leisurely moved our stuff alongside my wife and I.
Done.
