McGovern, has been practicing law since 1993 and served 6 years as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General, 3 of which were as legal counsel for the State Medical Board of Ohio preparing and prosecuting disciplinary cases against licensees who were in a situation similar to where you now find yourself. Since 1999, Mr. McGovern has concentrated his practice upon defending professionals against charges brought by regulatory boards. He has defended well over 200 licensed professionals in regulatory board matters.

The firm also has relationships with: 1) an attorney with 20 years of legal experience, who served as a Medical Board Hearing Examiner from 1995 – 1998; and 2) an attorney with an active medical license who has practiced in this area of law for 32 years.

Business Owner

Douglas E. Graff has been practicing law since 1985 and has more than 27 years of experience practicing on behalf of physicians and healthcare practitioners in Ohio. Mr. Graff is the former Assistant General Counsel and Manager of Hospital Medical Staff Services for the Ohio State Medical Association. Mr. Graff has represented over four hundred physicians before the Medical Board since forming this firm in 1991.
