A fancy new Goodwill! It’s in the plaza with the Meijer and the AAA, though it took me some weaving through various suburban island lots to reach the Goodwill. The building has lots of natural lighting and nice wire rack shelving for housewares. I was a little surprised at how packed some of the racks were, since the store has only been open a few days. It can be difficult to browse when clothes are packed so tightly. The fitting rooms are spacious and well lit. There were several racks of new merchandise, and I picked up a travel laundry bag, some pillowcases, an ice scraper, and one of those fabric bins for storage. Unfortunately the prices are awfully fancy for Goodwill, which I’ve noticed has been charging higher prices over the past few years(the price of books and jeans comes to mind). Clothes in particular are at least a dollar or two more than I would expect from a thrift store. Still, I know where I’ll be stopping every month on my way to Mosley’s. Favourite finds so far: — Orla Kiely travel laundry bag, $ 1.99 — Brand new snow scraper, $ 3.49 — Fabric storage cube, $ 3.99
