Let me preface this review by saying that the staff here is courteous, knowledgable, and generally good at their job and strive to improve the lives of their patients. Where they need tremendous improvement however; is in their timeliness.
I had the misfortune of an afternoon appointment recently; I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time, and was shuffled from Waiting Room A to Waiting Room B within 20 minutes… quite speedy for The Eye Center.
Another 15 minutes before I’m shuffled off to an examination room where see my specialist in record time. Then I am shuffled back into the waiting room where I am left to wait for (get this) nearly 2 hours.
That is not hyperbole. I did not leave the office until 5:30pm! There was nothing wrong, I did not require any special or additional tests beyond what my appointment already called for. The issue is simple; they extremely overbook. If you’re going to go here I recommend early morning appointments where your average stay will only be about an hour and a half.
