I seriously cannot say one bad thing about the doggie day spa! We have been here three times and each experience has been better than the last! We absolutely love Alissa, she does such a good job with my westie! They are really easy to schedule with and super helpful and pleasant on the phone. In the spa they are so friendly! This is definitely our new groomer in Columbus! Thanks ladies :)

I love Doggie Day Spa and Grooming! I’ve used both their self service and full service options. The salon itself is very cozy, clean, and welcoming. The self service tubs are very large. I was able to bath both of my medium sized dogs in a single tub. Their self-​service pricing is great — only $ 10 per dog. I’ve also used their drop-​off grooming service and was very pleased with how well my dogs were taken care of and how fantastic they looked when I picked them up. Unlike other groomers, you don’t need to leave your dog in a boarding situation all day. Doggie Day Spa lets you know approximately how long your dog will need to be there and they call you as soon as the grooming is complete. I also love that they send a «doggie report card» home with my pets to let me know if their were any concerns noted regarding their skin, teeth, etc.

Very happy with the job that Megan did grooming our pooch Ace. It was his first time at a groomer and he was a bit afraid. Hates to have his paws and tail touched. He came back looking great and with his tail wagging. All of the matted fur was gone, he smelled great and we love the cute Halloween bandana!

The service here is fantastic!
The staff cared about my pup’s well being and he came back happy and clean. He loved his time there and they provided a nice «report card» that discussed how he acted during his visit.
They were very willing to work with me and my busy schedule so my little guy was ready within 2 hours. He came back smelling fresh with a very nice cut. They are very professional and kind so I will not take my dog anywhere else. I definitely recommend taking your four legged friend here.

Took my mix breed black lab to get a bath & de-​furminated because she had extra tufts of fur all over. They did an amazing job! She looks sleek, clean, and smells wonderful too! She’s much cooler too with this wonderful June heat! Highly recommend this place!

This place was great!
The woman at the front desk that greeted me and my dog Phoenix was very nice and welcoming. The place was bright, open and clean.
The groomer was also very nice and welcoming. We discussed Phoenix’s cut and off she went to the back area.
I picked her up a few hours later and she was beautiful and clean!
Also, I have taken her several times to another groomer and the reason for the visit to Doggie Day Spa is because the regular groomer couldn’t get her in. The reason for this mention is because after she’s been to the other groomer, she itches and gets little bumps on her back area. After her Doggie Day Spa visit this has not happened. So I don’t know if it’s different shampoo or what but we’ll be going to Doggie Day Spa for now on.

I have used the self-​grooming service here. The staff are friendly and helpful– they have actually even helped me hoist my 50 lb dog into the tub! They provide everything you need– shampoo, dryers, brushes, and even aprons so you don’t get as wet washing your dog. The prices are very reasonable, too (when I’ve gone, it was $ 15 to wash your dog yourself).

My husband and I moved downtown a year ago and was looking for a new place to groom our dog. Doggie Day Spa Grooming and Self Serve Salon is fantastic. Their staff is friendly and helpful. We love the self serve option to bathe our dog. I highly recommend!!!

I LOOOOVED the Doggie Day Spa!!! I have taken my pups to commercial groomers for the last year until I happened upon the Doggie Day Spa while running errands. I took my girls there a few weeks later and I have NEVER been more pleased with the results!!! They looked and smelled beautiful and they we SOOO soft for weeks! I am definitely a lifetime customer!!!

My dog has always had a good experience at Doggie Day Spa. The staff is very nice and personable, and my dog loves them! He always leaves the spa smelling fresh and looking trim. Sometimes they take a little too much off the top of his head (I like the goofy fluffy curls he gets), but overall, I have been pleased with his look each time. I really appreciate the balm they put on his paws to help with chapping and the festive bandanas! He got an OSU one last time, on a game day! :)
Also, the location is great – while my dog is getting groomed, I can pop in next door to the salon or go grab a bite to eat on Grandview Ave.

Great experience! I guess I should start out by saying that I cannot speak about actual grooming skills like breed specific show cuts or what not. I brought my dog in for a bath. I do not have the set up nor the skill to give my dog a proper bath.
We brought our dog in the Tuesday before Christmas for a de-​shed, bath, and nail trim so that she wouldn’t smell, fuzz, or scratch up anyone’s flesh or floors while we bustled about the state of Ohio for the holidays.
The highlights were:
1. Easy to set an appointment– and so happy that they had something so close to the holidays!
2. Timely appointment. I was told it would be 70 to 90 minutes and it was roughly 72 minutes.
3. My dog was so fresh and so clean! And without the over perfuming that I have noticed from other shops we have been to around town.
4. The follow up mail piece addressed to my dog thanking her for the visit and how great of a dog she was! Obviously my dog can’t read, but it definitely brightened my day!
The one thing I would change is the check out. I wish they would have let me hold my dog on the leash so she didn’t look so «Sarah McLachlan”-y, with her sad eyes and anxious tail wagging, watching me through the cage as I paid. (She was fine, I just have a heavy guilt complex)
I will definitely be bringing my doggie back here the next time she is due for a bath.

On a recommendation from a friend. we took our dog to Woof and Suds. The staff was excellent, Dog was happy, great experiences! We loved Woof and Suds!
Since it changed to Doggy Day spa, we have taken our dog 3 times and will not be back. The staff changed, The grooming on my dog was so bad the first time, the owner paid for the next one out of her pocket. Staff is rude both in person and on the phone. Case in point was last week,. I called for an appointment with a specific groomer. Another groomer answered the phone, when I said I would like an appointment with a specific person, the person on the phone didn’t place me on hold, cover the phone or have any professional courtesy. my impression is he threw the phone at another person and walked away.
I want to support local small businesses and will pay a premium to support small business however I expect a little courtesy from employees.

Charlie had a visit today for a nail trim. He used to let me clip his nails but has become very nervous about it. The staff was very friendly and a nail trim is only $ 10. I was nervous because I didn’t want Charlie to bite the groomer, but when the receptionist saw I was upset she went over and checked on my pup and gave him treats and comforted him. They were all really lovely and did a nice, clean job.
We even saw our neighbor’s dog, also Charlie, leaving with an adorable summer cut! My Charlie left with a happy tail and we will be back for regular maintenance.

Okay so, I loved this place when it was Woof n Suds. Took my dog here all the time. Few complaints and they were rare. Now Woof n Suds is Doggie Day Spa, and my dog just got his first haircut here…
They made my dog look like an idiot.
We got home, and there were patches of fur of various lengths all over his torso and head. Around his face, it’s clear that they just sort of hacked away with a pair of scissors. Doesn’t look like they tried to make it even. I took an hour to go back over what they’d done, but it still looks like a toddler took a pair of shears to his head. I also found an scab/​nick almost a FULL INCH long under his arm.
They also didn’t file the sharp edges off of his nails after they clipped them. A small complaint, but something I’d expect to be included for $ 50 plus tip to groom a 20 pound dog.

This place is a great find! They are professional and efficient. They took great care of my little doggie and she came out looking beautiful after getting a wash and a hair cut. The groomers are friendly and skilled. When I arrived they were very busy, but they took time to take care of me and make sure I was getting the services that I wanted. They are also easy to book appointments with, and they were able to squeeze me in the same day that I called.

I love Woof N Suds, they are the best!

The pup needed a wash: A serious, not-​done-​by-​me wash. He really needed someone to get in there, scrub him down, blow him dry and give him a spritz of minty-​spelling dog-​man cologne. So, I gave Woof ‘n’ Suds a ring.
I was immediately able to get an appointment the next day and dropped Toby off around noon (which is when they open during the week). Normally when you walk into a grooming place you’re overwhelmed by the smell of wet dog and well… grossness. Kudos to the staff for keeping this place pretty clean because although it did smell like wet dog (uh, duh…) it wasn’t so bad that I wanted to gag.
In about an hour-​and-​a-​half, which was the quoted time, I picked up my clean, fresh-​smelling furry boy — who looked quite handsome with his red bandanna, and happy, too! — then paid about $ 35, tip included, and we were on our way. If I wanted to — for half the price — I could’ve given Toby a bath myself and used their products. They have large tubs that you can do it yourself — how cool?! He sheds like crazy so it’s convenient not to have clean the bathroom or Draino my bathtub after a wash.
Another cool thing about this place is that they don’t use cage dryers. That would freak out any dog, let alone mine, right?! I actually saw a woman in the back who was using a Shop Vac (on the blow mode of course) to blow out a St. Bernard. Hey, whatever gets the job done! And no normal hair dryer is blowing out a St. Bernard!
Basically — this place is pretty cool and I’m considering a bi-​monthly trip to keep Toby’s smell under control. :)

Woof N’ Suds is a God Send!!! We currently have our friend and her German Shepherd residing with us. While we normally just wash our pups at home every or every other week, poor Greta is too hairy to allow in our bath tub! When I called Buckeye Grooming and found out they were booked, I scrambled to find a solution to get this dog cleaned and smelling good again!
Woof N’ Suds to save the day! I called and the friendly girl reserved a tub for me of the appropriate size for Greta at the exact time I asked. I also told her she needed a nail trim and they alotted time for that in our trip as well. They provide everything you need to get your dog sqeaky clean. Shampoo, face wash, combs and brushes, restraints, power blow dryer, and treats. Plus, aprons for you. Trust me, take the apron! The staff shows you how to use everything and offer tips if you need help.
The tub was easy for her to step into was was clean when we got there. After we were done, well, that’s abother story. It looked like a war zone! They let us take as long as we needed and when we were finally done, the groomer came to us to do the nails. She was very sweet and kind with Greta, but in the struggle on nail got the quick nipped. But, once that happended the groomer stopped and gave recommendation to come back so she didn’t get traumatized. A much better solution than pushing it with finishing.
The whole process was $ 23. $ 15 for the bath, $ 8 for the nails. The DIY bath prices vary based on weight. $ 10 being the cheapest. They also offer full service grooming, but I’m not sure of the price. Although the nail trim was more expensive than Buckeye, Woof N’ Suds was a convenient solution that got the job done at a reasonable price. I’d definitely go back and it’s a must for long haired dogs or dogs that can’t get in the bath tub!

This is not my first time going here and def. not my last!
I have 2 goldens about this time every year we give them a shave. Where do we go, woof n suds! My dogs come back to me in about 3.5 hours for the both of them, cleaned, smelling good, nails done, hair all did, and about 20 lbs lighter!
For the works for the both of them with tip it’s about $ 140.00. Well worth it if you ask me. If you have 2 goldens you would agree. If not, then I guess you aren’t really living and should move to that state up north. Seriously. Do it.
The girl who cuts them is alway very nice and awesome with the dogs.

I tried Woof ‘n’ suds after having the winning bid at a silent auction. If I hadn’t, I probably would never have gone. It’s a tiny place hidden between a couple of non-​retail businesses on West First Ave. in Grandview.
I dropped my dog off and was told he’d be all pretty in one hour. I was expecting the works: shampoo, dry, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, brushed, and whatever else you can do to a dog. I picked him up and yes he was clean, but the nails were still long, bummer. I was so hoping the experts could get it done. But I guess they have limits too. I should give kudos for the lack of cage dryers. Maybe you saw the piece on the Today Show about cage dryers? When used incorrectly, they could seriously harm or even kill the dog. Why take the chance?! Woof ‘n’ Suds is cage dryer-​free.
I addition to full service grooming and wash, they also allow self-​washing and pet waste removal for $ 9.00/week. Closed Mondays.
