As usual, closes early, especially on weekends and is of no help when you need help… Thank you CVS.

Sweetie needed some meds and this was within walking distance. It seems like an odd location for a CVS, but I’m sure downtown workers find it useful, as we did. It was clean and well-organized. She got her prescriptions quickly, and staff seemed friendly. Parking? Yeah, good luck with that. Not exactly a place I’m going to go out of my way for, but I’m glad it’s here, and was happy with the experience.

This place has amazing customer care and service. I have been there a lot lately and they take the extra time to answer my questions, deal with my flighty returns, and still make jokes. Thanks guys!

I work pretty close in vicinity to this CVS and it is quite convenient for all of my CVS needs. There are quite a bit of homeless folks who hang out by the store, but the staff inside are very nice. I have even done some grocery shopping there for those nights after work I could not make it to Kroger’s. If you work on High St. or near it, then I would recommend coming here. Oh, and it is the only place I know of that sells the Arizona Herbal Tonic Tea.

This CVS is a good location. The customer service seems to always be nice, if a little forced feeling at times. Most of their items are overpriced(pack of 2 hot pockets for $ 4 is double what you’d pay anywhere else) but they have some good deals usually, their wine and beer is always on sale, and I enjoy getting things from their dollar section like a pack of pistachios or prunes(8oz of prunes for $ 1 is something you can’t find anywhere else). All in all, they have a good selection of things, even if sometimes overpriced. They’re the closest pharmacy for most downtown. And the customer service is there.

Anytime I go here there’s always a 15 minute line. If you’re in a busy downtown location, staff your registers from 9 – 5, M-F. period. If I can avoid this place, I can usually get in and out of the one on parsons/livingston faster. But at least they have eggs. Because you know, people are going to a CVS smack in the middle of downtown for eggs.

I mean, it’s a CVS. This particular store is awesome for two very important reasons:(1) location and(2) Kim back in the pharmacy. Seriously, I’d been in only a few times and Kim knew me by name. She also helped me set up automatic refill without me asking about it. In general, Kim makes everything you need to do in the pharmacy 10x easier– she goes above and beyond every single time. This particular CVS also gets some crazies, and Kim always treats them with dignity and respect. This CVS is really close to my workplace, so I use it to stock my office with last minute touchup tools like consealer, black hose, and toothpaste. Plus, they always seem to have a sale on pretty boxes of tissues, so I don’t have to use the uggos the office provides. My life downtown is made more comfortable by this CVS. Just watch out for some of the weirdos.

The pharmacy staff here are the best! Very friendly and always remembers my name. Prescriptions are always filled and ready for pick up. Perfect for anyone that lives or works downtown(I fit into both categories).

Now… if I could only find a way to remember to take a left onto S. High rather than a right onto N. High, I’d be all set! Let’s see, «right is right…» D’oh! This CVS is perfectly located about a 10 to 15 minute walk from where I work. I needed cough drops, and they have a very good selection. Whenever I go in, the cashiers are friendly and communicative, and the staff on the floor is willing to help point you in the right direction. Help is rarely needed, because CVS does a decent job of marking each aisle with signs overhead — just like every modern drugstore and supermarket chain. This location seems smaller than the average CVS, but I haven’t noticed any reduction in the quantity or quality of the items available. My guess is, they just removed some of the useless aisles you find in other stores, and focused on the important stuff. I’m not sure if this is due to age, or the location of the store(downtown), but the carpet seems perpetually old and dirty. It’s not a hotel room, where I’m going to be staying awhile — I’m in and out in a flash generally — but it’s just odd for a chain store to have such obviously well-worn carpet. In fact, the whole store itself seems old, but that’s probably because it probably is. On hotter days, I’m always happy to walk inside, as the air conditioning runs perfectly — and that’s all I really care about atmosphere-wise. Speaking of quick, the service at the register is always fast, even with a line. They generally have two registers going at once, and there’s obviously a single line that breaks off near the end once a register is open. Some folks try to jump the big line, but they look back, figure their Vegas odds, then apologetically head to the back of the one true line. Oblivious people… So, not much more to say about this CVS location, aside from the fact that they have cold beverages, some food items, and a pharmacy in the back. I even chuckle at the wine bottles, and wonder what it would be like to live back in the days of Mad Men where you could drink and smoke at your desk, and political correctness was a few decades in the future… The location is very convenient for me when I have pharmacy-related needs at work, and it gets me away from my desk for a few minutes, and outside, which is nice. An overall decent experience, and I’d recommend anyone working downtown near High and Broad to visit this CVS when in need.

Bandaids? — check. Pads? — check. Travel-sized items? — check. Wine? — check. Nailpolish? — check. Bottle opener? — check. Cheetos? — check. Wedding card? — check. Sewing kit? — check. Ramen? — check. Obviously all things a bridal party might randomly need while staying at the DoubleTree around the corner. Obviously. Hours were kinda funky(close early) & they don’t sell wine on Sundays. Hmpf. Other than that — it was a lifesaver of a convenient store.

I’m a big fan of this CVS — downtown CVS. About 15 minutes walk from my job, right next to the bus lines, and subway restaurant. Right across the way from Columbus Common’s Park. Woohoo! :) I agree with Patrick, not quite as big as other CVS stores, but it just has about everything. They have been a life saver when I got sick suddenly at work or when I needed to stop there for a few quick items. It may get very busy during lunch time, opening or after 5PM.

CVS lite… Close, quick and everything you need without having EVERYTHING! No customer service to speak of but who needs help, right?
