One of the better options on the OSU dining plan. Reasonably priced and generally pretty healthy. They also have a lot nicer/upscale options than most of the dining halls which are just fast food including a sirloin steak salad that’s pretty good!

Good fast grab n’ go place. I got a Turkey Avocado sandwich combo which is was ok. I’d love if they added more avocado to the sandwich but it is what it is. I don’t attend the school and was only here for a weekend to workout with some friends in town. Staff was friendly and quick but the menu fell short of what I was looking for. Not bad for what it is though.

I am a huge fan of the two university dining options in the RPAC on OSU’s campus. Courtside Café serves sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees, and flatbread pizza. There are grab-and-go options(e.g., some salads and sandwiches, fruit, soup) and some made-to-go(the majority of the menu). The menu changes frequently, the food is reasonably priced, and everything is fresh. There are daily entrée specials, and two featured HOME-MADE soups every day, one of which is usually vegan or vegetarian. I have tried most of the salads on the menu and I frequently have their daily soup or salad specials. The regular menu items are consistently good, and the specials are usually spectacular, but have sometimes been bad. For example, one time, I found pieces of the choke part of the artichoke in my soup; very infrequently, the soup will be under-seasoned; a few times the soup or salad has had under-cooked grains or beans in it, which is a risk when everything is made fresh instead of coming out of a can or bag. The Mediterranean, spinach, and chicken taco salads are all great. Soups that are southwestern/Mexican/TexMex are also usually good. I’ve also had good luck with their chowders. The«cream of…» soups are usually my favorite, but occasionally not great. The salad specials are not usually what I expect based on the list of ingredients, which I love, but if you are picky, you might avoid these. I’m not a big fan of pasta, but lots of people I know swear by their pasta. Juice 2 is a smoothie place and has some of the same grab-and-go options(not soup) as the Courtside Café. Unlike many other places, they actually use REAL(though frozen) fruit in their smoothies. They make them to order, so you can make substitutions and they have different supplements you can mix in for free. You can add yogurt, soy milk, protein powder, spinach, etc. I don’t have any recommendations, because every kind is great, and with the customization, you can really go nuts!
