Comfort Suites East Broad at 270

Stayed here for a night when visiting town. Staff was friendly, room was updated and clean, free wifi and breakfast. My only «complaint» is that the breakfast could have included more hot foods and the juice dispenser was more like flavored water. I would stay here again.

Nice room with 2 queens and a sofa bed. Pool is really small — half the size of normal hotel pool. Only goes to something like 4 ft and freezing in the morning. Still fun for the kids. Breakfast is convenient and gets put away at 9 am. Front desk was quick and efficient but not the friendliest. No pets allowed. Convenient location.

Pros: it’s nice, it’s clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s easily accessible to the highway.
Cons: the hallway floors feel like you are walking in a fun house… Ups and downs, lots of soft spots along the way. For a hotel that is only 5 years old, this is crazy.
All in all I would stay here again, I just hope they do something about the hallway floors before someone falls and gets hurt.

The room was large, with two queen size beds, couch, sitting chairs, desk, fridge, microwave, you name it. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The beds were a little firm but not uncomfortable. The air was a little dry with the AC going all night. I enjoyed it; wish I could have tried the pool.

Nice room, well kept and clean. Didn’t spend a lot of time there but I had no complaints and these days that’s the most you can hope to get out out of a hotel in this price range. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The breakfast was the standard «continental» fare, meaning barely edible.

Stayed here on a business trip and we were all very impressed! For $ 99 a night we got a huge room, comfy bed, nice sized bathroom, a nice sitting area as well as a kitchenette with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Not to mention a nice work area with desk and plenty of power outlets!
The room was clean and kept cool. Plenty of lighting and a nice tv. Best of all, free *fast* wifi! Why spend $ 200 on a room elsewhere in the city (cough cough The Hilton) and not get free wifi?!
If I had to give one con you can hear a plane taking off or landing every once in awhile but that didn’t bother me very much.
Anytime I do business in the Columbus area this is where I’m staying from now on!

I stayed here two nights last week while visiting family. I didn’t get a chance to really explore the hotel or even stay in the room much, but I was quite comfortable. Check-​in was easy (I’m really glad they had luggage carts available), the room was very clean with a nice assortment of extras like a fridge, microwave, plenty of plugs for electronic devices, and even a little sitting room area. Had we wanted to, we could have definitely had visitors in the room. It was quite nice. I also really was happily with the excellent air conditioner that was very easily controlled and kept the room at a nice temperature.
I didn’t eat breakfast, but my wife did. She didn’t say anything about it, so it must have been OK. She did bring me some doughnuts, though.
I will say, though, that there were a lot of geese outside of the hotel. That doesn’t bother me, but one of them was quite aggressive and kind of lunged at my while I was carrying my daughter. I got in his/​her face and yelled «come at me bro!» That caused the beast to back off. Don’t mess with my kid, goose.
Oh, and evidently a few people staying in the hotel had their Nintendo ²⁄₃ DS systems on as well as I picked up quite a few folks on Street Pass.

My husband and I stayed at Comfort Suites for 1 night while visiting our daughter who lives nearby. I chose this hotel based on proximity and Trip Advisor reviews. Our stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was nice to have a separate living room area, as well as a refrigerator and microwave in-​room. Breakfast offerings were sufficient. There were eggs (hard-​boiled & scrambled) and sausage, along with instant hot cereal, bagels, mini donuts, muffins, an assortment of fruit, yogurt and juice. There was also a DIY waffle station. The kitchen area and subsequent eating area were clean and tidy. There was also a business center in the lobby along with an adjacent seating area. Also the hotel offers free wi-​fi. All in all this as a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t give 5 stars because floor squeaks and one of the computers in the business center wasn’t working right and made me lose my work twice.

Overall it was a good experience and decent value, with one major downside. I decided to splurge and get the room with a private jacuzzi in it, which was really nice. Service was nice, the free included breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Free internet.
The only real problem I encountered was when I woke up with a bunch of bites that I’m fairly sure are bed bug bites. Not cool. They should take better care to avoid bed bugs! If it weren’t for that I’d probably give it the full five stars.

For whatever reason, the airport hotels right next to the Columbus airport are wickedly expensive compared to what you pay only a few miles out. This Comfort Suites is a mere six miles away (by interstate; it’s less if you take the back roads like the cabbies do), and much cheaper.
For $ 100/​night I had a massive suite with a chair, foldout couch, flat-​screen TV, comfy bed stuffed with pillows, a sizeable desk, a microwave and a good-​sized hotel refrigerator. All for just me… This Comfort Suites has very friendly staff; on my check-​in I received a little welcome bag for being a Choice Privileges member (I’ve never gotten one before!), and the woman at check-​out remembered me from the day before. Little things, but welcome ones.
A free airport shuttle is advertised, but as far as I could tell it’s sporadic. I arrived around midnight and simply took a cab from the airport to get to the hotel, and when I needed to go back to the airport the hotel paid for a cab, instead of taking me in the shuttle that was parked outside. I don’t know if they’d comp your trip from the airport, were the shuttle not running, but that may be worth checking into. Given that the cab ride was around $ 25, and rental cars at the economy level are around $ 15/​day, you might be better off just renting a car to begin with, if you can’t get a shuttle to the hotel.
I didn’t use the pool but it looked large and clean. There’s a fitness center, and the standard continental breakfast. I usually avoid them, but this one had clementines instead of plain oranges — a nice touch. The biggest downside of this location is that it is fairly remote; there’s not much around (aside from Waffle House and Chick-​fil-​A), though a short drive takes you to more populated areas. I wasn’t running this weekend due to rehabbing an injury, but if you’re like me and usually like to go out for a run no matter where you’re staying, be aware that there are no sidewalks in sight around here. The general area is a bit east of Columbus proper, so if you want to go into the city at all, you’re in for a drive.
Comfort Suites are probably my preferred label of the Choice Hotels family, and if you’re in Columbus and need a good one near the airport, this is a great choice.

A nice looking building from exterior, and also well-​kept on the inside. We stayed for an extended weekend with our infant son. Our room was large, with plenty of space to set up our pack n play. Nice kitchenette with sink and mini fridge… Needed with a baby for sure! Nice furniture including a hide-​a-​bed couch, desk w chair and a separate rolling table (handy!), comfy chair (good for holding a napping child), large bed with down comforter and lots of pillows (though I always advise bringing pillows from home bc a good pillow is key to a good sleep!), nice closet, and an easy to use AC/​heater unit. That said, my biggest annoyance about this hotel is the floors! And I’m not talking about the carpeting. The floors creak BAD! And they are apparently paper thin too. We could hear EVERY freakin thing our upper level neighbor was doing… ALL NIGHT LONG! Yeah, hello… Hotels are floor sleeping!!! Go to bed, people!!! Be warned now: If you tend to be a light sleep, you better ask for a room on the top floor. For this one reason alone, I’m giving a lower rating. No one should have to hear what the person above is doing all day or night long! (Why does anyone come to a hotel and not sleep at night?! Seems like a waste of $!) Well everything else is pretty top-​notch. Don’t expect anything delivered to your door though. You need something? Get down to the front desk. They’ll gladly help, but there’s no delivery service for anything… Except Dominos pizza, which costs extra, of course. The front desk lady (we saw the same one all weekend) is super nice. Continental breakfast is good, with a Belgium waffle maker. Mmmm! Parking is decent (particularly before 7pm). Oh and it’s a great location with plenty of food options down the road! So, overall a fabulous hotel… But best on the top floor if you plan to sleep at all.

Knowing the Comfort Suites brand, I didn’t have high expectations of this hotel. It turned out to be a rather pleasant surprised. Located close to the airport, getting their in our Mitsubishi rental car from Dollar was a rather simple affair with help from my trusty friend Siri. The place was easy to find and looks relatively well kept. Upon entry, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Then again, most people from the midwest are. I checked into Four Square while my boss checked in and got a little welcome gift offer. I jokingly presented it the staff and they said they just ran out of it and would make some more and be sure to save me one. I got a room on the 4^th floor. Since it’s only 4 stories I guess you can call it a penthouse (j/​k). The room was nicely furnished with a nice sized bed, office area, separate sitting area and very nicely done bathroom with granite countertop. Color me impressed! My perception of Comfort Inn being similar than your Motel 6 was definitely wrong. We were leaving for a meal and the staff actually remembered me and gave me the welcoming present. The next morning there was free Continental breakfast with a Waffle station! Also the WiFi is free and you don’t even need a password. That makes life so much easier for watching Hulu! I give this place a thumbs up. If it wasn’t for the lumpy bed and the sad 3 machine gym, I would give it a five star. Yikes a 5 Star Comfort Inn!!!

This is my favorite choice hotel in Columbus. Not only its close to the airport, the staff is friendly and the room is big and clean. the added bonus? FAST INTERNET!

The Run-​Down:
When you first walk in, the set up of the hotel is wonderful. Plenty of seats in the lounge to sit with a big screen tv. The computer and printer actually works well. The front desk is exceptional. I can be somewhat picky or needy at times but they are accommodating and super friendly. Check in is a fast process and when I go into my room, Im always suprised at how nice and clean it is. Its so clean that I dont mind walking around barefoot! Another little thing that I notice about the rooms is that there are outlets on every lamp and 3 extra plugs at the work desk. Its such a small detail I know but I appreciate it and I hate having to go behind drawers and desks to try to plug in my laptop and phone. The breakfast area is wonderful because even throughout the day, they have fresh coffee out. They also keep plates and utensils out which is great for when I bring take out to my room, I can easily head over to the breakfast area and grab what I need. Lastly, the internet runs about 10 – 15 Mbps download and 1.5 — 3 Mbps upload. Love it!

Plenty of parking (and was also allowed to leave my vehicle in the drive through for some time)

Room was clean and large with a separate area with a couch.
Coffee maker (not in bathroom :-) and fridge.
Large pool.
Free coffee tea out at all times, and complimentary breakfast (decent — waffle maker was fun!)

Great, clean, comfy, no smelly heater, great service. I was happy to stay there!!!
