History

Established in 2005.

The story of Columbus Custom Tees begins in 1998 when two Ohio State University students formed a graphic design company called I. K. Designs. The next seven or eight years were spent producing fliers, posters, web sites, logos, and tee shirts and helping to build the brand identities of hundreds of small businesses and groups in and around central Ohio.

In 2005 the partners began printing their tee shirt orders themselves. An agreement was made with All Star Embroidery to use its facility during off-​production hours, and IK Designs set itself to focus on learning absolutely everything about the art and industry of garment screen printing.

They opened CVL Ink Screen Printing Company (later known as Columbus Custom Tees) on Nicholas Drive in north west Columbus during the fall of 2006. Since then they have grown in experience and capability to offer their customers the professional quality and level of service that earns «customers for life».

Business Owner

Everett was born and raised in and around Dayton, Ohio. He came to Columbus in 1998 and helped create CVL in 2004. Has a passion for the creative process and feels fortunate to be able to make a career out of something that he enjoys so much.
