hmmm… how do you review a convention center?
I like this one a lot. It’s big but not so big I get lost. Theyre always having something fun going on. Theyre large enough to have multi things going on.
What I dont like is their food court. The floor is always sticky and the prices are higher in here then if you were to go to a store outside. Example… Subway sells a footlong chicken teriaki for $ 7. In the convention center it’s $ 9. The Charlies in here is horrible. THe guy who runs it is a mean old man who is more interested in picking fights with you rather then giving you what you ordered. Another review for another time perhaps. I really like its location! Location is key! Plenty of hotels in the general area with most in walking distance. A year ago when I lived in Philly we came for a convention and stayed at the Mariott. It was about a 15 mins walk, nothing short of a nice walk. Plently of food options outside the place, like Barleys across the street! Parking is rough at times. We usually have to find another lot because theres is either full or more $ then elsewhere. There’s a lot around the corner (3 actually) that are cheaper.
Overall a great convention center that I find myself in time to time for varies reasons.
