A Local Business Built For You

At ChoreSource our job is to simplify your life. Whether it’s mowing the lawn, shoveling the sidewalk, or raking the leaves that your spouse has been nagging you about for a week. ChoreSource will take care of it! This lets you spend your precious time doing more important things — like taking a nap or finally tackling that novel you’ve been meaning to read.

ChoreSource connects you to our locally screened and qualified private contractors who will complete your chores for you!

Never spend another hot summer afternoon doing chores outside again. Rather, sit back, relax, pour a cold glass of lemonade and check it off your list with the help of ChoreSource!

History

Established in 2015.

A Columbus based startup, ChoreSource, connects those needing help with their outdoor chores to privately screened contractors looking to make an extra buck. Born and raised in Columbus, co-founders Tim and Thomas Smith grew up and earned their keep through all sorts of jobs in their neighborhood. Sure the money was great for 14 year olds and the mall trips even better, but the greatest part of it all were the relationships, stories, and trust they built throughout their jobs that have stayed with them to this day.

Now older and supposedly more mature, after a PhD at OSU and a trip in corporate finance, Tim and Tom have come back to their local roots in hopes of providing others with that sense of community care and trust that bolstered their childhood so long ago.

True to their vision, Tim and Tom, believe that every personal interaction, be it through shoveling a small sidewalk or deck staining for a whole day, fosters the community aspect that Columbus is so well loved for!
