Chase Manhattan Mortgage

I don’t think that this is very funny at all! I only speak the truth as how they have dealt
with me over time — I don’t trust them! I had to go to my bank and put a stop as they say one thing and tell you another! Truthfully anyone that trusts Case Bank needs
to see a doctor!

Maybe totally incompetent, maybe dishonest, deceitful? Certainly WAY understaffed. The most frequent piece of correspondence will be a «WAIT while we research the matter» and the wait will be weeks to months. On Re-​Fi closing Chase (finally) sent check for ESCROW and over-​payments and then stopped payment on check with NO communication — let alone explanation.

These guys are MORONS. Stay away from Chase if you can possibly do so.
My story: I was faithfully paying my mortgage via ACH Debit every month. My last payment was not processed by Chase. Since it is automatic, I never noticed. I get a call from Chase telling me that I’m late on my last payment. I ask them to take the payment via ACH. They tell me that they can’t. Darn. I offer to send them a check. They demand certified funds! I finally convince them to take my good check. Today I find that it was returned to me — they’re demanding certified funds again. I now have no choice to play their game. I’m sure that they’ve already slandered me to the credit bureaus.
There is no use calling their «customer service» number. It’s all automated and whenever you do get to a human, they’re in Panama or India and they have zero authority to help.
Chase is a very large, very confused, very belligerent company. They care very little for their customers no matter what. I strongly advise that everyone steer clear of this moronic giant as they will eventually turn on you!
