Another one of those corporate chains that does a decent job with its food. My Mother had a coupon so we opted to come here for lunch. The menu is pretty extensive and from my past experiences here they do everything just average. My taste buds don’t get excited but they don’t get put off either. I opted for the French onion soup and half a chicken sandwich. I liked my soup although I prefer my cheese stretched over the whole bowl and not on a crostini. My chicken salad sandwich was served on a very hearty multi-grain bread which was my favorite part of my sandwich as my chicken salad was pretty bland tasting. The bread saved this from a two star review per se. My Mom got the French onion soup and a half portion of the grown ups grilled cheese. She loved hers. Both platters are served with some really nondescript kettle potato chips which are like eating salty cardboard. It’s bad when I don’t eat the potato chips. The restaurant itself is a pseudo sports bar as there are TVs everywhere with all kinds of sports on. Our server was pretty efficient not exactly overly friendly but per functional. I may be back but I’m not going out of way to do so. There’s plenty more places I need to get to first.

A wonderful place to eat, drink and catch up with friends. The food was delicious and the waitress was quick and efficient so not to bother us while we talked. Will be back for more good food and great conversations.

The food is pretty good but lately they have been hiring servers who are not very professional looking or acting. This didn’t used to be the case but in the last year or so, it’s gone downhill. More tattoos than a biker bar and not great attitudes. Love the fried cheese, though!

Service is very very slow. Bartender yelled at the host asking why was she being seated all of the time. I advised if it was an issue, I could sit somewhere else. The bartender said it wasn’t an issue. After being seated, it took them several minutes before they even came over to take my drink order and it was the host and not the bartender(mind you I was sitting in the bar area). After being avoided, they came and took my drink order. Because of time, I gave them my drink and food order(potato skins and Big Green Salad). Skins came out in 20min. Salad came out another 20min after that. Finally had to tell them to box it to go so I could make my appointment. Not sure what has happened over the years but the service level has fallen off. Several servers were standing around talking yet I wasn’t even asked if I wanted a refill on my drink. Bartender finally came over and it was the wrong salad. I just asked them to box it and tell them I had to go so I could make my appointment time.

What is the point of advertising that you’re open for Christmas if there is no disclaimer that service is going to be lacking and slower than slow. I look around and everyone is waiting on food, no one actually has food. Soup shouldn’t take 30 minutes. Don’t get me wrong, we wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t 9+ months pregnant. I didn’t feel like cooking and this was literally one of the only options. We won’t be back.

Amazing service tonight as I was blown away that our highly experienced waitress Heather memorized the five of us order. Place was crazy busy, she got order 100% correct, food was as ordered and she made sure grand daughter got her sundae! Outstanding experience!

I go here about once a month & for some of the bigger games and have always had good service and have enjoyed myself. Not a big crowd, even on big games(IE: USWNT World Cup the final game or the 1st game of the season for the Buckeyes) so was able to easily find a seat. Atmosphere is good. Food is always good and the staff is friendly
Only issue I would say would be the cleanliness of the women’s bathroom last time I was there(3 days ago) — lots of paper on ground.

Have visited this location on numerous times and have overall, been satisfied every time. The menu selections are good and offer a wide variety, even for the picky eaters. Drinks are served cold and the interior of the restaurant is modern and casual ambience. However, the women’s restroom was disgusting! And this was on a Monday at 2:30p…so not on a weekend or during a busy lunch or dinner crowd. Stall walls look like they hadn’t been washed down in months and the floors looked like it had been years. 1 stall was out of order, baby changing station had been removed, trash cans were needing emptied and there was miscellaneous nuts & bolts on the countertop. I’d really like to give this restaurant 3 – 4 stars as the food is good, but the restrooms will turn your stomach.

There have been a lot of Champs that have closed but this one still seems fine. It isn’t too busy at lunch. Menu selection is broad, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and full meals. Prices are roughly $ 10 for sandwiches and $ 15-$ 20 for meals. Our group of 6 was melted, treated and seated promptly. Food was good. Great drink specials, especially on Thursdays. If you have a group of 10 or more the waitress to, d us to call ahead the day before and they would give us some discounts. Waiter was great, kept our drinks full and food service was correct and prompt. Facility is clean, quiet, not too bright, and upscale.

Working in the Easton area for the day, a coworker and I went to Champps Restaurant & Bar for lunch. Arriving at 12:45pm, the restaurant was surprisingly empty. Greeting us immediately after entering the establishment, the host sat us at a high table by the windows. After taking our drink orders, we were given several minutes to look over the menu. When our waiter returned with our iced teas, my coworker ordered the cobb salad, while I selected the chipotle BBQ burger with a side or sweet potato fries. While the restaurant is nicely decorated, it was very dark, with dark hardwood furniture, dark wood paneling, and the lights set to an intimately low level. Were it not for the islands of light cast by the ubiquitous televisions hanging from walls and ceilings, or the fact that we were sitting next to an outside window, I fear we would have been eating in the dark! As one might expect for a nearly vacant restaurant, our food was ready very quickly. While I was surprised that the sweet potato fries were waffle fries rather than the more typical shoestring fries, they were perfectly done, with a great balance of crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Likewise my chipotle BBQ burger was very good, with great tasting pulled pork and very flavourful bacon. My only disappointments were with the nearly tasteless slice of tomato, and the bacon, which while very tasty, was too chewy and difficult to bite cleanly through, resulting in me pulling the bacon out of the sandwich with most bites. Otherwise the sandwich itself had a great flavour. Additionally our waiter was very attentive, refilling our iced teas multiple times and checking in often to see if we needed anything else. For great tasting food and very good service, I rate Champps as being Very Good, and would definitely return the next time I am in the area!

The first time I came here was soon after it opened, for an ad hoc Thanksgiving dinner. The food and the whole experience that time were great. Today, we had an urgent need for potato skins and this was among the closest options. We did carry out, but from previous visits and a brief wait today, the dining room is very comfy and inviting, with various seating options, a nice dark wood atmosphere, and good service. I didn’t sample the skins but they looked good, with real bacon and other good toppings. I had the honey sriracha wings, which were super meaty and cooked just right. The sauce is not particularly spicy, but the heat adds up and I enjoyed them. I also had the hummus, since I have not eaten much else today that could be considered healthy. It’s a huge order, enough for a meal for one or sharing amongst three or four people. The hummus itself was good, and topped with tomatoes and feta. The order also includes plenty of pita wedges, and a variety of veggies. For a «new American» chain, this is pretty damn good. We’ll be back.

We usually go when we get the 10.00 off deal in the mail. The food is good but why turn down a nice discount. The daughter always gets her usual plain cheeseburger and fries. The wife got fish and chips. Which included 3 huge pieces of fish. She said it was good, but a little on the greasy side. I had the chicken and spinach flatbread. Was very good, but it stays with you the rest of the night. Nice place, but not our favorite. A once in a while joint.

Decided to go here for dinner tonight. Our server was very nice and helpful. She suggested the fresco steak tacos and they were really good. I honestly expected them to be okay but they were much better than I anticipated. I ordered a side Cesar salad and it was large enough for two and good.

Been going to this Champps location for years. It was located close to the office and if we needed a vanilla American-style menu this was the place. Nothing exciting here. For this lunch, I had the Uptown Turkey Wwith a side of waffle fries. The fries were really good. The wrap was OK and nothing to be excited about.

I had a «great moments in food porn» moment today. We went here for some lunch and I figured I would be a good and less then naughty boy by ordering a salad. Figuring the Champps Americana Chopped Salad was a healthy and nutritious choice with fresh apples, cranberries, grilled chicken, and a vinaigrette based dressing; I didn’t think I could go wrong. Well(cue the barry white) I found that it is about 1200 calories. Holy #$%# that is a lot of calories. There area cheeseburgers on their menu with fewer. I think they should rename this salad to be the«Champps More Calories then a Burger Salad». I would still get it because it is actually a really flavorful and well made but half would be about the right amount. Why 4 stars? Well, we were in the bar area and they were pretty busy. For that reason it was not possible to get refills. Beyond that, the food was really good.

This was my first visit to the Easton Champps location. I was a long-time patron of the Champps location at Crosswoods prior to its closing and recently decided to give the Easton location a shot. I was there late afternoon on a Saturday and the place was very busy, We were seated within about 20 – 25 minutes of arriving which I didn’t think was too bad considering the location(Easton) and the time of day. The atmosphere is definitely more along the lines of a sports bar than a typical casual restaurant. There are plenty of TVs that let you keep up on the games. Service was a little on the slow side — OK but not great. I would have thought they would have been better staffed considering the location and time of day. The menu has changed since my last visit to the Crosswoods location and they no longer serve my old favorite — the Patty Melt — or my wife’s old favorite — a Greek salad. However, we were both able to find new items to try off the menu. Being a «burger guy» — I was tempted by their«south of the border burger» and my wife tried the Champp’s cheeseburger with the«add-on» applewood smoked bacon. Both burgers came with fries and both were very good. I was more impressed with the food than with the service and would have given this restaurant a 4-star rating if not for the slow service. Overall, however, Champps is still a good solid choice for a good burger or sandwich and a great spot to watch the game.

Ordered buffalo wings and a side simple salad to go.(Large carry out order for my office-was delivered). I had asked for the wings plain because I already knew I didn’t like the taste of the buffalo sauce. So then I just asked for BBQ on the side so I could dip it myself. Wings still came with the original buffalo sauce. Not only was my order wrong but the wings had next to no meat on them. I would also say they were tough, but I can’t verify if they would have been that way fresh. Also, half of my salad was bad! Lettuce was brown and rotten and tomatoes were mushy. Oh and that’s it. That’s all my salad was made of. Lettuce and tomatoes. I could’ve gone to Walmart for that. Packaging was also horrendous. The outside of my containers had other food all over it. They are not seal tight.

An afternoon craving for nachos brought us here. The nachos were quite tasty and enough for 2 of us. However, the dessert mini trio we had at the end was the star. A small piece of cheesecake, a piece of the spiked torte and the cookie were presented. The boyfriend liked the cheesecake; it was so light that it was more soufflé-like than a cheesecake. And I loved the torte. I think I’ll just the get the torte next time.
