History
Established in 1995.
CCBT began in 1995 after Dr. Kevin Arnold completed his training from the Atlanta Center for Cognitive Therapy in Cognitive Therapy. With two other clinicians, CCBT opened in the Dublin/Upper Arlington area of Columbus, Ohio. CCBT has grown to a clinical staff over 20 full and part-time clinicians, most of whom are independent contractors practicing a independent practicing affiliates. In the last few years, CCBT acquired its own facility on Sawmill Rd. near Upper Arlington, and also maintains an office in Gahanna, Ohio.
In 2007, CCBT began an internal training program that offers training in basic cognitive-behavioral therapy methods, advanced training in innovative methods of treatment, and ethics. The training is provided internally to our independent practicing affiliates and employees in order to keep them up-to-date on CBT treatment strategies.
