History

Established in 1995.

Cecil & Geiser, LLP was formerly known as The Plymale Partnership, LLP until September of 2009. The firm was originally established as Plymale and Associates until 2002.

In 1991, Michael Geiser was hired as an associate. Mike had worked as a clerk for the firm while completing his law degree at The Ohio State University. In May, 1993, Andrew Cecil joined the firm. Andy had been with a local insurance defense firm representing clients such as Nationwide, Allstate, Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) and Walmart, among others.

In 1997, Mike and Andy were made partners in the firm, then known as Plymale and Associates. The firm changed the name to Cecil & Geiser, LLP in 2009. Since 2003, Mike and Andy have been the managing partners. Both continue to represent clients as well as work with the associates of the firm. Located in Columbus, Ohio the law firm of Cecil & Geiser, LLP continues to represent only injured persons and concentrates on serious personal injury claims.
