I took my wife and two young daughters and was pleased with our experience. There are several bowling areas in this area, so I suppose they need to compete, but these guys are right up there. We had come from the Polaris area on a day the kids were off of school so we couldn’t get a lane up there. But I was glad to find we could walk in and get a lane here pretty quickly. The price of games is reasonable, the place is clean, and it feels like a traditional bowling alley, which I particularly appreciate.

Stimulating environment. balls everywhere. I used to live in Las Vegas but tbh I had the time of my life here. Food was exquisitely seasoned and we’ll paired with a premium Busch heavy

A great bowling alley that smells like my childhood. We had 4 adults and 2 children there on a Friday night and we all had a wonderful time. Prices are very fair and they have an arcade, bar, food stand, and a pro shop for your bowling needs. Definitely will return!

When your group is 28 years old, you have 2 beers a piece in a 3 hour time period and the bartender cuts off your group, you know to never return

The staff here is great, this alley has been here for a long time and is a delight to bowl at. This is not one of those huge bowling houses, this is a place where they know you and treat you like family. The bar is awesome, and the prices are not bad, the grill has awesome food. The pizza is made to order. All in all great place to relax and enjoy bowling

I love this bowling alley. My kids bowl here on Saturday mornings in kids’ leagues, and have a great time. The atmosphere is very family-friendly. The owner loves kids and has a great party for them after every league season. I bowl here in a league now too because I enjoy coming here so much. Don’t forget to visit Boo’s pro shop for your bowling-related needs, his prices are reasonable and he’s very good at getting you the right ball for your needs.

Fun times here on a Friday night. We went around 9 and found the place nearly empty. It picked up a little bit as we were playing. I was satisfied with the lane and the ease of use of the computer scoring. I was able to hit my stride in the middle of both games, and I bowled a 147 and a 149. We had a blast, acting a little crazy after strikes and spares, and nobody seemed to mind. I found it a little annoying that they got on the loudspeaker a couple of times to review the rules. Maybe just post those somewhere? This is a good place to bowl!

A good bowling alley out of the way in a Northland neighborhood. The proshop is small but well stocked and expertly run. The lanes are in good shape, but they are in need of replacing the monitors and keyboards. Want a great value? Try their Sunday Brunch and bowl. Great burgers and other food at the grill.

Before I was old enough to drink, all my friends and I used to do was hang out at a local bowling alley in west Akron. As soon as we found better places to waste our time and money(bars) we completely gave up the past time. ‘Twas a shame, so I eventually how much I enjoyed a vigorous match of bowling that did not involve a Nintendo Wii or that weird puck thing they have at Library Bar near OSU. I always drove by Capri Lanes while driving to work one summer, and I wondered why I’d never stopped in. The sign itself, which is straight out of the Los Angeles in the late 70’s, is enough to lure anyone that has a taste for the ironic in for a game or two. When I finally checked it out, I was amazed at how groovy this place is. The Big Lebowski is my favorite movie of all time, and Capri on a random week night in the summer is as close to the bowling scenes in that movie as anywhere in central Ohio will ever be. The big draw that helped me coax my friends in to going for the first time was the Tuesday and Thursday college night special, which gets you drafts, games of bowling, and slices of pizza for $ 1.25 each. You can get fed, play bowl a few games, and get a more than decent buzz at the bar for under ten dollars at Capri, all while feeling like a real authentic alley rat type character. Weekends can be pricier, but weekdays from noon to six are a good deal as well with $ 1 games, hot dogs, and drinks. Even if you suck at bowling, it’s a great excuse to take a break from TV or the bar and get a nice change of scenery, even if said scenery was lifted from the movie«Casino». Which is exactly why I love it.
