History

Established in 1991.

I am a strong believer in fate but I also believe that we control our own destiny. After all, it was fate that brought me to the brownie business in the first place and destiny that brought me back more than five years later. While teaching in Cleveland, Ohio I began baking brownies as a hobby. Eventually a hobby was turned into a nationally recognized brownie company and an elementary school teacher became a CEO. Our gourmet goodies have been featured on Good Morning America, The Food Network, Rachael Ray, The Today Show, Entrepreneur Magazine, CNN, The Daily Candy, was chosen as a Top Pick by Neiman Marcus Savvy Staffers and most recently debuted at The Billboard Music Awards at the request of Justin Bieber! Brownie Points have found their way into the hearts and stomachs of brownie connoisseurs across the country and internationally including Graeter’s Cake Batter Fudge Brownie Ice Cream.

I invested my entire savings and with the help of my incredible family and friends and restarted Brownie Points from Scratch! Eventually I generated enough business and once again took the leap of faith and opened my own manufacturing facility. Fortunately, dedication and perseverance paid off because Brownie Points are now entering a new era as am I! We are now focused on large corporate contracts, Best Customer Incentive Gifts, Online sales, Private Labeling, and Catalogs as we continue to grow! From a 1400 square foot facility in 1991 the company now occupies a 5,500 square foot production facility in Columbus, Ohio. We have also solidified our position into the kosher market. Throughout this adventure I met my husband, who ironically owned his own popcorn business. It was love at first sight and over time the two mergers took place!
