Eating my lunch with my hands today since my carry out order didn’t include silverware per my request on my online order. Other items were missing as well. All of the butter for bread was placed in the bag under the mangled food containers(Hulk smash! Apparently), so the butter packets popped and leaked through the bag onto our truck seat. That’ll be fun to get out! The food tastes ok, but won’t be ordering from this location again as this is the 3rd trip we have had missing items or incorrect orders.

Came here to pickup a pie, took over 10 min since nobody seemed to have knowledge of anything going on, very slow moving. Finally got things figured out after the manager had to come to show them how to use the old school credit card machine. At that point my patience was wearing thin after dealing with 3 different associates.

We recently dined here for dinner, and were pleasantly surprised to see that they had renovated the interior. Looks pretty nice now. The food is typical Bob Evans, which to me is a good thing. Our server was great. So why only 2 stars? They have the most incompetent hostess/cashier I have ever encountered anywhere. Even though we were the only people waiting for a seat, it took us 10 minutes to be seated because that’s exactly how long it took for this girl to finish serving a single carry-out customer. Same story on our way out, it took this girl 15 minutes to process our payment because we wanted our check split 2-ways and we were using a Bob Evans gift card. She was probably new and probably didn’t know what she was doing… which may not entirely be her fault. The problem is that none of the other workers were helping this girl… you’d think that the manager would be out there helping/training her instead of allowing their customers to wait and wait…

Had the Sunshine. The food is high quality for a chain restuarant. Delivered as you would expect.

Do you enjoy seeing mullets and Team Pappy t-shirts with all the grandkids on it? Then you’ve arrived! Not only will you get great people watching but a good, «farm fresh» meal. Bring on the biscuits & gravy and hash browns.

Paid $ 8.50 for sunshine skillet through carry out. My portion size seemed 3x smaller than the original dine in size. If I knew that, I wouldn’t have wasted my time and money… Although I’m disappointed with the size, it did taste good!

Solid traditional breakfast food place. Super busy for brunch on weekends but worth the wait if that’s what you’re craving. Be sure to substitute your toast for hot cakes if you have the option. The sausage skillet is like 1000 calories but is my favorite thing on the menu.

The Bob Evans I frequent the most. It’s also one of the busier locations in central Columbus, particularly after events on or near OSU. I come here out of convenience, and maybe you do too, but if you have a few extra minutes, your meal will go by much faster if you drive up the road to the north Broadway/Olentangy location. That said, there’s nothing wrong with this one. Service is always pleasant, if not outstanding, and they recently received a facelift so it has a nice, modern feel now. It can be difficult to get in and out of if traffic is heavy on Olentangy so be alert!

I like bob’s, they are a staple in Americana, but this one sucks in particular.

Meh… seriously…just…“meh.” I came here on Easter morning with a few people before church. I don’t know what it is… but it seems Bob Evans has changed a lot. Perhaps it was just more thrilling as a child. It just seems much plainer, the food is more bland, and not so much of a comfy atmosphere like it used to have. The service was good, no complaints there. I’m not saying that I’ll never eat at another Bob Evans again. I really don’t go enough to make a final decision. But with so many awesome«hole in the wall» breakfast places around Columbus that are insanely cheap and delicious… I’d rather go somewhere like that.

Consistent Chain Breakfast I mean come on, who HASN’T had bob evans is more of an anomaly that anything else. I have had Bob evans all over this great country, but will focus this review on the one down the street from my current residence. The breakfast is solid and consistent. They do carryout orders which is nice. Pancakes are always good, I get them almost every time I eat there. Nothing wows me, but I appreciate the steadiness of the place.

The service at this location is friendly and is faster than at one on Broad in Whitehall. Food is consistently good. Only complaint is that the last several times I’ve eaten here, the WIFI has not seemed to work — can’t connect via IOS or Android device, whereas in the past it has not been a problem with either.

I believe if I came to this restaurant with a hangover, the greasy, bland food here would be absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, as I had an interview that same day, no drinking was involved the night before. Without the mask of post-binge consumptions, eating breakfast here was just ok. The service here was kind of strange. It might be because I’m unaccustomed to the service here than west coast’s but although I’m sure the waitress was a very nice lady, she seemed. very blunt. Well anyways, service was quick and good while the food seemed fairly manufactured. The eggs looked like they were poured from a milk carton while the hash browns hardly had any taste to them. Biscuits I hardly touched, partly because I was full but also because they were somewhat dry. Everything felt greasy. Would definitely recommend coming here for a cheap($ 10) breakfast with coffee if you like grease and half-decent food or after your taste buds are numbed from the late night drinkings.

It is as good as Bob Evans gets… quick service, greasy food. Great after a night on the town or for a good Sunday breakfast every once and a while.
