If you have seen someone wearing cool glasses around town they probably bought them here. This store is super sassy in its eye wear selection. Vintage looking glasses with modern lenses seem to be a specialty. I also admire the dual color frames that are black but have shadows of green or purple behind the lens. Eye One gives you the opportunity to realistically make your glasses match every outfit you own. If you are not optically challenged you can buy any frame in the store nonprescription. This is perfect if you want to look studious or professional, or really admire Tina Fey and Sarah Palin. The owner is really into her craft and loves to match your eyes to the perfect frame. Take her suggestions because they are dead on. Eye One will keep you looking good while looking, and make you give up contacts for good. If you have 20⁄20 you will wish you didn’t when you stop in to this store.

If you’re in the market for an incredible pair of unique glasses or have an unhealthy obsession with the 50’s(or any other decade) and want to have glasses that reflect that period, you MUST go here! It is quite pricey and for me a total indulgence, but given the length of time a pair of glasses can last you, I often justify it. Their website doesn’t provide an in-depth description of the glasses or the store itself so you might need to take a little trip and see it for yourself. Grandview Avenue is awesome so you might want to reserve an afternoon to take in the other great boutiques that Grandview has to offer. Tip: Parking for Eye One is somewhat tricky so I recommend parking across the street in one of the open lots if you can.
