Auto Options

I went in on a Friday to demo some of their audio equipment and some big guy with a mustache told one of my friends their HID light unit isn’t any good and a customer had to wait a week to get it fixed. I didn’t really care about that considering I was looking at a sub & amp install.
Some other guy came out the back and was like we can’t demo anything right now. Apparently there sound board was down? No big deal, I can come back.
So I’m like alright, let’s try again. So I called 1^st thing Monday morning & left a message with who I’m guessing is the receptionist & no one called back. So I called them again later and asked them about OEM integration interface. The lady was kinda rude and told me they don’t do OEM integration, mainly cause it isn’t possible on a 2008 Accord. I’m like, now I know your wrong but if you say so? Guess I’m gonna have to find someone else.

My experience at Auto Options today was fantastic. My after market moon roof was sagging into my truck, so I called Monday to get an appointment at Auto Options to take a look at it on Tuesday.
They were upfront on diagnostic service cost. I have to admit, going to auto shops, I expect a hassle. This experience was the exact opposite. Service was friendly and timely. After 20 minutes, the tech personally came in to tell me he inspected and fixed the problem. He took me to vehicle to show me the work done. He was polite, professional, and courteous. When I checked out, and I guess I shouldn’t advertise this, but the nice gal at check out told me they worked on it for such a short time, she wasn’t going to charge me! They didn’t have to do that for me. I’m just some dude who walked in off the street! I fully expected to pay the diagnostic, but she went the extra mile for fairness and customer service!
I was taken aback because it is so typical for businesses to take the money where they can get it at the expense of fair customer service. Auto Options demonstrated it wasn’t about the buck they could get out of me, but more the satisfaction I got from the service. For that, Auto Options, you now have a loyal customer who will recommend you to everyone I know!

I took my car to Auto Options on February 6, 2013 for a sunroof repair. When I bought my car in 2004, I had an after-​market sunroof installed. The dealer sent my car to Auto Options. My sunroof was fine for years and then it began to leak when it rained or snowed. No mechanic would fix it because it was installed after-​market.
I finally discovered that Auto Options was the original installer so I made an appointment and dropped my car off for the day. They called me to pick my car up with 15 minutes to spare before they closed. I get in my car and the «repair» they’ve done is a very cheap patch on the sunroof seal. They charged me $ 72.06. It seemed to work for a while but because the leak was not constant, I wasn’t sure. About 6 weeks after the «repair» my car started gushing water when it rained. I called Auto Options in May of 2013 asking if they would fix my car correctly this time and credit me the $ 72 towards a new repair. The owner, Rick, cannot find my information in their computer system. I gave him my name, number and date of service but apparently they only keep track of invoices using the last 8 digits of the VIN number. I found the receipt for the repair and called them back on May 16, 2013. I spoke with the cordial woman who answered the phone asking the same question — can I bring the car back for a proper repair and get $ 72 credited towards my repair? She of course has to ask Rick. Rick got on the phone and stated that he remembers «dealing» with me back in February and he remembers telling me that the break in the seal was so large, that I should keep an eye on it and he wasn’t sure WHERE the leak was coming from. He told me none of this in February but he claims he did. He is always very condescending toward me and quite rude. He explained nothing to me in February; he basically ran my credit card and threw my keys at me so they could get out of there for the day. The receipt indicates a 12 month warranty which I ask him about. He reads through this warranty while I’m on the phone with him. The owner doesn’t know his own warranty policy? I asked, «do you stand by your work? Because the repair did not work.» Silence. More silence. He refuses to help me and so I told him I would report him to the Better Business Bureau. He proceeded to hang up on me. I was charged $ 72 for a repair that did not work. The company will not honor their warranty as printed on the invoice. They are rude to me every time I call. I will never use this business again and will warn everyone I know to stay away.

This is the first review I have ever written on Unilocal,that is how amazing Auto Options was to me. I have a car with a sunroof that has been leaking inside the car for a while, think rain inside the car. I called Auto Options and explained to them my situation. Not only was the gentleman on the other end of the phone totally understanding he was extremely nice. He was willing to fit me in that day. We arrive to additional friendly workers. They figure out my problem, come up with a solution that can be carried out that day. The price was completely fair. I could keep going. They went above and beyond for me. So I want everyone to know if you need help with a sunroof, window tinting, remote start, car alarm, or etc for your vehicle call Auto Options. They are absolutely amazing and I want everyone to know it.
