History

Established in 1996.

Dr. McMahan opened his Plastic Surgery Practice in April of 1996 to focus his attention on the aesthetic needs of his patients and to create a place where patients can go to satisfy all of their cosmetic needs. What started as Advanced Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery, Inc. became Advanced Aesthetic & Laser Surgery when began to accumulate our on-​site array of aesthetic lasers for facial rejuvenation, laser hair removal, laser treatment of portwine stains and facial spider veins as well as laser tattoo removal.

Our initial injectables include Zyderm and Zyplast, now we have Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra XC, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, Restylane L, Perlane L and the list keeps growing.

We have the unique Hydrafacial system for exfoliation, moisturizing and hydrating your skin all at the same time.

We carry top of the line Obagi Skin Care Products including both the Retin A and Vitamin C programs.

Business Owner

Dr. McMahan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oregon and completed medical school at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He completed General Surgery residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Fl and became certified by the American Board of Surgery. He then spent two years at The Ohio State University in a Plastic Surgery Fellowship and is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

He has been in private practice in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 1990 and if solo practice since 1996 when he began to specialize in aesthetic plastic surgery.
