We have been here several times over the past few weeks… and will continue to! The menu has so many choices ranging from the meat lover to the seafood lover to the vegan(our family covers all of those bases). The food is served hot, flavorful and consitently delicious. As if it weren’t enough to have great food but the service is friendlier than any place I have ever been. From the hostess, to the server, to the bartender, we are greeted with a smiie and genuine enthusiam that we are there. They take so much care in preparing our food to order… serving it with a smile. Worth a separate trip… go!

On a late Friday afternoon looking for a new haunt I stumbled upon this place. Actually the coupon in the Clipper magazine fueled my decision to dine here but after checking Unilocal reviews the excitement grew. Although I’m not vegan I’m always looking for ways to eat healthier so the fact that they had a lot of vegan based dishes intrigued me. Unfortunately the excitement ended the moment we walked in the door. It was only 4:30 –5:00 on a sunny Friday and the atmosphere was horrible. The place was packed. I don’t know if happy hour started early but the crowd was already in that loud, let’s drink mode. There were multiple tvs but I couldn’t hear them. Music played in the background but it was barely audible by the loud crowd. I know this is a bar/restaurant but it was clearly more bar than restaurant. Loud to the point that it was downright uncomfortable. Than there was the décor. Concrete floors, dark drab colors on the walls, no focal point or anything to look at, dark blinds closed completely so no natural sunlight could seep in. It made me depressed. From the time I sat down I only wanted to leave because it was just that uninviting. On the upside the menu was varied and had a lot of interesting selections. I did have difficulty deciding as several dishes were appealing to my senses. Sweet potato fries as a side was a plus as I love them and hardly find them served commercially. My mouth was watering thinking about their salty sweetness. In the end I choose(in addition to the fries) a Panini with a horseradish aoli, mixed greens, and thinly sliced steak. It took forever for our orders to arrive — and I mean at least 30 minutes. All the while I was struggling to find something to lighten up my mood. The lack of sunlight on a beautiful day was really messing with my senses. Why they would keep it that dark on purpose is a mystery to me. My much anticipated fries came out soggy, limp, and flavorless. They were immediately sent back. In the end I ended up taking half of my sandwich home. We were there much longer than I had planned with the delay in getting our order to us, and the lack of sunlight I just couldn’t deal with anymore. With that being said I think we will go back — but for takeout only.

Great deck eating, solid selection of beers, the wife liked the mix drink specials they were putting out, food was surpassingly good, solid service, reasonable prices. If I would ding them for anything, it’s a bit stuffy and dark inside, smells kind of weird to me(but that could just be me). Overall we had a great meal(southwest burger was fresh, spicy… Everyone at the table had fun… Well done!

The next best thing for the vegan in central PA. It’s not perfect, don’t think this is the be-all, end-all for anything vegan, BUT, it is a consistent go-to. They offer a half dozen vegan dishes, all of which I’ve had and enjoyed. The cooking can be a little inconsistent,(sometimes the tofu will be perfect, other times a bit mushy), but it is never bad. My personal favorite, the avocado reuben. Oh btw — its also a bar, a no frills, lots of tv’s kinda bar with decent drink specials. Trio is the standby, when we don’t know where to eat — trio it is!

I think I’ve found my new local place for dinner and a drink. Very good vegan food, decent beer list and well poured drinks. It’s laid back and comfortable, just the type of place I’ve been looking for. I will definitely be back!

Their macaroni and cheese grilled cheese is to DIE for and the atmosphere is amazing. I am from Callifornia, so I’m not certain if it’s an east coast hospitatlity«thing» or what, but the whole atmosphere was GREAT.

It’s a shame the service wasn’t as good as the food. When we walked in to be seated there wasn’t a sign or anything indicating where we should be waiting nor a host or anyone that seemed interested in letting us know that someone will be with us in a few minutes. After waiting for about 15 long minutes we were sat down. There was a long wait for our food and the waitress rushed out so quickly in between taking orders, doesn’t give you a chance to ask for anything extra. The food was good. I tried the vegan cheese steak. Honestly don’t think I’ will be returning

The food was amazing! Was in town with family visiting Corn Cobb Acres. We didn’t want to eat the fried food at the farm so I found this place on Unilocal and we gave it a shot. First, our waitress was awesome! We had two young children with us and she was completely on the same page, brought the kids food out early, made sure we had extra utensils and such. Second, the food was so good!!! I got a cheese steak, best cheese steak I’ve had in years! The Mac n cheese burger was awesome, my boyfriend scarfed it down! The wings were cooked just right. I could go on and on! Lastly, the prices are extremely reasonable! Especially for the quality of food and service you get! Thank you so much! We will definitely come back if we are in the area! I might even make a trip up just for the cheese steak!

Would have given 4 stars but the service was pretty slow. Three and a half is more realistic but only because the waitress would disappear for 15min between visits to our table, and the place wasn’t even crowded. The food however, was delicious. Got the spicy tuna tacos that were good but not overly impressive. Tuna was a little over-cooked and not at all spicy. The blackened salmon sandwich was REALLY good. The aioli on there was super flavorful and made the entrée definitely worth the $ 9. Prices were very reasonable across the menu.

First off let me just say this place was overall great. Just 2 things that brought it down from a 5 star rating. So here I go: 1. The theme! I have no idea what they are going for. Sports bar? Dive bar? Family restaurant? Casual? There are tv’s everywhere with some kind of sports news or sports being played. That I think is awesome because I love sports and football season is upon us. But if it was a sports bar I was a little confused with the name and décor. 2. It took a few minutes for the bartenders to come and get my order. They weren’t very busy. But it did seem like they may have been having a bad day because when I walked in they were in this little corner have a conversation that didn’t seem like a happy one. On to the good stuff ! 1.Beer Selection! Not very man drafts but really great choices! A few I haven’t ever heard of before! I got the Shipyard Melon and it was delicious for a summer day. 2. There are VEGAN options! And they are very tasty! I had asked the one bartender is there was anything he would recommend and as he continued shooting off ideas I told him my diet. He pulls out this paper of specials and here they are all vegan. From what I was told the chefs specialty is vegan food! 3. Service overall wonderful ! Very polite, attentive and friendly. Laid back dudes that know their stuff and have been in the business for a long time. I don’t get out there much but suggest if you do try them out.

The reviews made this place sound promising but as we were traveling through town and stopped in, we were sadly disappointed. A tip: ask what’s NOT available before ordering because the waitress will not tell you. My dinner mate ordered two different things only to be told they were not available and«that the menu is changing.» Waitstaff should tell you what they are out of when handing you the menu, not after you attempt to order it. He ended up with something he didn’t really even want, and didn’t even like it. The balsamic chicken needed more spice. It was a bit lackluster and overcooked. The other two of us(burger and chicken) felt the same. The meat was overlooked. The fries were bland, the Mac and cheese(over the burger) tasted like it was from a box. On a positive note, there was no wait at 8pm on a Saturday night and the beer was good!

Trio is a nice place to go for a drink or bite to eat. Very friendly service and the food is delicious. They always try new things with their specials and soups. I’ve never had a complaint with my food. Dart board and jukebox provides a bit of entertainment and trivia night was cool if you’re in to sports! If we were closer we would definitely be regulars there!

Many moons ago, my wife and I had our first date within these four walls. We’ve been married going on 30 years. The location changed hands several times. I can’t say why we haven’t tried Trio until now. Wasn’t sure what to expect. When we entered the outer door, there were two more to choose from. My recollection was that the bar was the door on the right and the dining area on the left, so we went with that. Did I miss signage? Anyway, not the best start. In the dining room, there was nothing to help us know if we should wait to be seated, or just sit down. We decided to sit. Again, did I miss signage? Maybe you just have to be a regular to know these things. Once we sat, everything changed for us. For the better. We were promptly greeted with a big smile that made us feel right at home. We each ordered a beer, and they were produced without delay. Nice. The menu was clean and uncluttered. Easy to understand with quite a few choices. Who needs pictures? I ordered a tuna wrap. The menu said seared tuna, but my waiter asked me how I liked it cooked. I told him that I think seared means red inside, and he smiled in understanding. My first bite told me that they mean to please here. Absolutely delicious! From perfectly cooked fish to the crunchy noodles inside to the wrap that was grilled on the bottom for a char — broiled flavor. I enjoyed bites of delicious tuna from my first bite to the last. Most excellent. Not your standard fare, creativity, reasonable prices and hospitality. We will be back!

The vegan menu brought me here. Love love love the avocado rueben. Even now that I’m not vegan anymore this is all I’ve ordered. With beer batter fries. My fiancé and I also take advantage of the drink specials. Dirty bong water is our favorite ;)

Went to this place and sat near the bar. I ordered the spaghetti squash with hazelnut cream sauce. It was AMAZING. I absolutely love how many vegetarian options there are! It made it hard to choose! My husband ordered the cheese steak, which he said was OK. The service was sub-par. Maybe it was because we sat by the bar, but we waited at least 10 minutes for the waitress to come and ask if we were ready for our check. Then waited another 10 minutes after for her to pick up the check. It took far too long. All in all, I’d give the restaurant 5 stars for food, but 3 stars for service, averaging out to 4 stars. We will be back again to try it!

Try the burgers which were recently cited as being one of the five best burger places in Lancaster. Decent selection of bottled beers, draft selections are pretty standard. Love their California Cheese Steak. Served with fries or onion rings, both delicious. Definitely a nice casual bar for a burger.

We LOVE eating at Trios! They have a full vegan menu that changes weekly and it’s GOOD vegan food! Also the staff is very nice and pleasant. It’s always a good time when we go,(which is often).
