After driving 3.5hrs from Kansas City(should’ve only taken two) in a snow storm, I was VERY glad to reach this hotel and be greeted by the valet! Valet parking is only $ 12/night. When I checked out, I told the front desk that their price was cute. It’s $ 70/night to valet park in cities like Chicago and New York City. The front desk gal said it made her appreciate country living, and I agree! Dinner was surprisingly decent at the hotel bar, as I was not about to venture out in the snow! I ordered a Pirate’s Harvest(apple cider, Captain Morgan, Busnel Calvados, & house-spiced syrup), French onion soup, grilled radicchio and grilled pears with balsamic vinegar and dried figs, and mussels. The soup was on point, the grilled veggies were scrumptious(would’ve never though to grill pears and the fig paired well w/the bitterness of the radicchio), and there were about 15 mussels. I spent $ 50+ including tip, but it was worth every penny! The only downside was my hotel room’s air conditioner. Even though I set the unit to «high» and not on auto, the air conditioner would go off from time to time. I then tried to trick it into coming on by changing the temperature, but no avail. I have a hard time sleeping when it’s too warm or silent, so I only got three hours of sleep! Breakfast in the morning was prompt and also tasty. Hilton diamond members receive two breakfast vouchers, and I used most for myself. I realize this sounds strange, but I ended up eating the lox bagel for lunch while driving to St. Louis(about 2hrs away). I thought the American breakfast(eggs, bacon, and toast) seemed a bit meager in size, but it was sufficient. Service was quick, and my waitress, Kelly, even took the time to drop off my valet ticket for me so that the vehicle was ready by the time I was done with the meal. Now that’s service! I would’ve given this hotel two stars because of the amount of sleep lost, but I added a star for the food and service. Hilton currently has a double points promotion on ALL hotel stays through March or April, so be sure to register! I will probably return! PARKING– VALET $ 12.00 GUESTROOM $ 169.00 RM — STATETAX $ 14.32 RM — HOTELCITYTAX $ 6.76 TOTAL $ 202.08

Staff is really nice and helpful. Easy to talk to, or at least the short hair blonde lady behind the desk when I stayed. She talked to me for a while about places to eat and drink. She made me feel really comfortable and welcomed. The reason this isn’t 5 stars is because when I stayed for more nights sometimes all the amenities were not restocked.(I.e. Lotion, mouthwash and makeup remover wipes). Not a huge thing. I can just ask for them, but was a little annoying. The gym is also really tiny. This wasn’t that bad when I came because no one was there when I worked out a few times. However if there’s more than three people that room will easily feel crowded. The hotel is really beautiful and one of the nicest places to stay in the area. Modern, clean, etc. I’d recommend it!

Great service and top notch rooms. The beds are very comfortable, and the showers are very modern and spacious. Breakfast buffet was awesome, don’t miss the tenderloin and asparagus.

The mattress is awesome… And that’s always what matters most to me at hotels. I slept like a babay. Also, the room was not noisy. Yes, the ac turns on and off and it’s a little annoying, but it’s not super loud, and I feel like every hotel room has that problem. My only complaint is there’s no tub– and the shower wasn’t super strong. Edit: the shuttle driver was 25 minutes late to pick up a group of us who had buses and planes to catch, and then on the ride proceeded to tell us the day was super slow…

The hotel was BEAUTIFUL!!! Self parking was stressful. I had to drive back and forth and wait for someone to leave. The food was poor to me. I ordered the Miso glazed salmon for dinner and to start it was extremely small to end up with a $ 40 bill. I took a few bites and I felt sick. The salmon was essentially sitting in miso soup. And the miso soup wasn’t even good. The next day for breakfast I had French toast and I wasn’t pleased with that either. It tasted like I was crunching on granulated sugar. On the other hand, I called and complained and they handled it extremely well. They credited me for the meal and offered to give me a free meal. The service was superb! The location was perfect! I will definitely return!

Great hotel! I generally love DoubleTree, and true to form, the Broadway DoubleTree, does not disappoint. The lobby and restaurant is new and chic and the room is large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and my view looked out over Stephen’s College, which has a beautiful campus. Walking distance to many of the things we wanted to do downtown(canvas painting, restaurants, etc.) Probably the only thing that might put someone off is the variety of coeds using the elevator to get up to The Roof bar. It didn’t bother me, I found it very entertaining and many of The Roof guests either kept to themselves or were polite, but I can see that being a downside for some. The staff was friendly and accommodating and always greeted me when I came in and wished me well as I left, which was really pleasing to me. I’m a HiltonHonors member and I couldn’t be happier with The Broadway DoubleTree in Columbia, MO

Good hotel with a great staff. Ryan, one of the front desk clerks, was incredible. He answered my questions with a friendly smile and even took me to the airport. I will definitely be back again.

The staff is sub-par at best and that’s being very generous. The place tries to come off as classy, but it’s just a failed attempt. Also, a little dirty. Tiger Hotel is still, by far, the classiest place to stay downtown.

This hotel ticks me off for a couple reasons. To be fair, the room is very modern, spacious and clean. But if I’m paying nearly $ 200 a night in Columbia, MO this hotel had better have all the freakin perks of a $ 100 hotel — which it does not! To begin, their WiFi system is crap — boots you off every 15 minutes. Come on people, this is 2014! Second — no free breakfast? At least give me a choice between a lame continental breakfast and the nice $ 12-per-entrée restaurant on the main floor. Again, $ 200 a night and you can’t give me a banana or a bowl of cereal?! Lastly– no microwave. What hotel room doesn’t have a microwave?! Another tactic to get you to buy their overpriced hotel food. I won’t be back, that’s for sure.

So I think people are confused. This area should be for the hotel The Broadway by Hilton Doubletree. The rooftop bar is called The Roof and the restaurant in the ground floor is called Eleven Eleven. As far as the hotel is concerned it is perfect. Just over four months old, opened in March of 2014, there is not a flaw besides maybe the absence of a pool. Rooms are immaculate and well appointed. The staff is professional and accommodating. If you are visiting Mizzou this is really the only hotel to look at.

This hotel is way over rated… yeah it has new amenities it stops there… rust in a dirty shower stall. the a/c In the rooms are loud. Turn the tv up turn the tv down all night. oh and they kick on every 5min for about 30 seconds for a circulate…. They close the ice and soda machine rooms at 9pm… who does that… lets not mention thuglisious and his home dogs hanging in the back alley behind the restaurants which happens to be right at the front entrance to the hotel… and it is not a private parking garage. it is a city garage that you get to park in for free… oh and the«key to everything» swipe your room key for everything… swipe swipe swipe… Besides the 42“flat screen I’ve stayed in $ 70 hotel 8s that were just as good if not better… Up side!!! The staff is awesome.

I’m not new to Columbia, so I’ve stayed at several hotels her, so this is a review of my stay in comparison to others. One word– nice! I remember staying at the hotel that was previously here before it was torn down. This hotel is awesome! It’s close to downtown Columbia and very close to Mizzou, which we were here to do a college tour. Our room was brand new because it’s only been opened two weeks or so. It is part of the Hilton chain, so you can imagine how nice it is. There is a rooftop bar here, which it charges a cover for all not staying here. There were a lot of younger adults and college age kids going, so that was a bummer. There is an eleven eleven restaurant here too. The amenities are great. But remember, this is a college town, so you will see a lot of younger people everywhere, lol. Our view from the sixth floor allowed us to see downtown. Very nice hotel. I will definitely stay here any time we come to Columbia, and we do visit often. Oh I forgot to add that I wasn’t feeling the chirping birds sounds I heard while getting off the elevator land as I walked down the hall. It was annoying at times, lol.

Great modern design of the lobby and rooms. Everything smelled great. They have smoothing ambiance sounds over the speaker system — birds during the day and crickets at night. Two bad things though. The rooms had dim lighting even if you turned on all the lights. Also, my breakfast was great until I ate the blueberries. The blueberries had been frozen and had a very poor texture and no flavor. The frozen blueberries made me question the quality of the food.

We made a reservation today for a party of five. When we arrived there, the place seemed really busy. We gave our name and time of reservation and they told us that they didn’t have your name down. I said I called this morning and made a reservation, but they didn’t seem to care at all. They didn’t even apologize! I asked to see the manager, he came over but he didn’t even apologize either. They didn’t even try to get us seated. They were very unprofessional and rude. So we left, and went to Sycamore instead. We had an amazing diner there! Even though we didn’t have a reservation they accommodated us, and made a space available for us right away. We were excited to try this new place, but don’t think will ever return there.
