It was decent when we moved in, back in 2010, but has gone continually downhill. They raise the rent $ 70 – 100 every time you renew, and even for new people, the rent is way more than this place is worth. They were bought by another company last winter, and things have gotten even worse since then. Maintenance never fixes anything properly, they just bandaid any problem they run into– so it’s no surprise that the place is falling apart. Staff has always been kind, but incompetent, and the turnover rate is incredibly high. There’s a new person in the leasing office every few months, we’ve easily gone through 10 people since moving in. The parking lot is sketchy to the point where I don’t feel comfortable with my little sisters visiting after dark. We did their home purchase plan during our last lease renewal(pay $ 1500 to be able to break your lease at 60 days notice with a purchase agreement) and have run into nothing but trouble since moving out. They never put the new move-out date into their system, so the payment portal was showing the full rental amount during the last month where we were supposed to pay a prorated amount. They never fixed it, and ended up filing a civil case with the district court for«failure to pay rent»! I have emailed and called multiple times, and on the times that I did hear back it was just to say they«were passing my message on to the property manager», only for me to never hear back from the manager! This entire thing has been an absolute mess, and they don’t care that I now have something on my record because of their lazy mistakes.

Service requests can take awhile to resolve but they really are dog friendly and the office staff knows everyone by name. Rent is pretty average for the area(expensive!) and while this is not an exceptional place to live it suites me and mine just fine.
