Description

Specialties

We specialize in drinking while painting in the Vista of Columbia, SC. It’s not only a place for artists, it’s a place for everyone to have drinks and experience painting their own creation. It’s always fun where you can «pour your art out !»

History

Established in 2013.

Even though the «activity while drinking» concept is fairly new, it has definitely made a lasting impression upon entertainment seekers. Whether you’re interested in art or not, the joy of splattering paint while having a drink is rather fun solo, with friends or at a party.

The tend starters set the tone in 2007 when they gained the reputation of BYOB for painting classes in locations off the beaten trail. Many of these concepts popped up in every city and yet only few «paint and drink» businesses have broke the mold for an even better customer experience.

Studio Cellar is the first concept in the South that sits directly in a entertainment district, offers classes and a freestyle area, where customers can buy drinks and snacks inside.

It’s really proved a lot of fun for any type of situation, that’s why it’s a growing and lasting choice of entertainment for just about anyone.

Meet the Business Owner

Charlotte Lindsey G.

Business Owner

My Artist resume was about to explode after being an Art Dealer for Picasso, Dali, Rembrandt and Goya’s estate (just to name a few). I had attended Savannah College of Art and Design for the Rising Star program and graduated from The Art Institute of Charlotte. I worked in Baltic countries as Gallery Director for major cruise lines. I lived in Europe and visited the world’s top museums, the Lourve, the Hermitage, The Prado.

I really experienced the heart of the art world and wanted to bring it down to earth for everyone.

To make it fit in 1,000 words, it’s not about high priced items or trying to understand something that’s not meant to interpret. It’s about drinking wine, laughing at yourself and listening to good music. Then having every person seeing something different in what you’ve created. Or, it can be about hanging something that matches your décor on your wall. It’s whatever you want to be, but one thing for sure, it’s yours to give as a gift, take home or sell as an artist!
