Solstice Kitchen takes a new approach to American cuisine. Everyone is sure to find something they will like, whether it be a gourmet burger or a delicious seafood entrée, or one of the many options on the steaks & chops menu.
Monday — Thursday, Solstice offers a 3 course dinner for only $ 25 a person. Options for each course are updated weekly giving diners a new dining experience each time they come in.
Solstice also has the best happy hour in Northeast Columbia. Specials include $ 2 off glasses of wine, $ 2 off all cocktails, $ 1 off beers, and half-off select appetizers. Also, stop by on Thursdays for live music on the patio, killer drink specials, and free snacks for music listeners.

Ricky M.
Business Owner
Ricky is a native of South Carolina by way of California. His earliest memories of food & wine date back to the days when his father was a wine rep for Ernest & Julio Gallo.
By his sophomore year at USC, he was working at Mr. Friendly’s. After a few years of waiting tables, working in the kitchen, and managing some nights, he worked his way up to General Manager and 6 months after graduating became a partner in Mr. Friendly’s and Gervais & Vine.
These days, Ricky has parted ways with Gervais & Vine, but is the Owner/Executive Chef of two new restaurants in Columbia, SC — Solstice Kitchen & Wine Bar and Cellar on Greene; as well as Mr. Friendly’s.
So, whether you see him running food at Solstice, serving lunch during a Friendly’s rush, or putting together a case of wine for you at Cellar, remember he’s one of you!
