Roberts Architects specializes in custom residential and historic design. We interact closely with our clients to understand the needs, desires, and goals of their project. A successful project is one that satisfies and excites the client, while staying within the budget. Roberts Architects offers creative solutions that are individual, functional, and closely relate to the site and environment. Roberts Architects offers a complimentary initial consultation.

History

Established in 2007.

Mr. Roberts has been practicing architecture for over 20 years. Early in his career, he worked as a Project Architect at Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects, PA. At this award-​winning firm, he headed up a variety of commercial projects ranging from churches, retail, offices, schools, and site planning projects.

Prior to creating Roberts Architects, Mr. Roberts worked for 7 years as a Project Architect at Bohl Architects, a nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm. Mr. Roberts designed a variety of residential projects including custom new homes, major additions, renovations, and historic preservation. He gained knowledge of all aspects of residential planning including schematic design, permit documents and coordination, interior design, construction documents, bidding and negotiation, site design, and construction administration.

By founding Roberts Architects, Mr. Roberts continues to develop and expand his lifelong dedication toward the field of architecture.

Business Owner

Bert C. Roberts III has been practicing architecture for over 20 years. Architecture has always been a part of his life.

Mr. Roberts received his Bachelor of Architecture with University Honors, 1993 from Carnegie Mellon University. He is actively registered as an architect in Maryland, and also holds his NCARB License (national license).
