Rapid Service offers full plumbing, electrical, and heating service for new installations or repairs. We are located in Columbia, CT. These services include but aren’t limited to installation and/​or repair of water heaters, well pumps & tanks, toilets, sump pumps, water filtration systems, indoor/​outdoor faucets, clogged drains, generators, lightning & surge suppression, electrical service upgrades, and bathroom fans. We also provide complete bathroom & kitchen remodeling

History

Established in 1993.

In 1987, a young Andy Hul formed a company called Riverdale Plumbing & Heating after he worked for several years as a plumber for a company in Avon, CT.

The fledgling company grew by word of mouth and customer references. There was no money for advertising, just Andy’s growing reputation for the highest quality work at reasonable prices.

These early years were filled with excitement for Andy — a growing business, a young wife & an old house that occupied all his spare hours. It was the need for some electrical work in the old house that brought Andy to his future partner, electrician Jay Lassow.

In 1993, Andy Hul & Jay Lassow officially opened Rapid Service Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, Carpentry & Remodeling.

As the years went by, Rapid Service added new experienced employees & invested in equipment that would allow for more services to be offered to our customers.

Although partner Jay Lassow passed away, Rapid Service has continued to grow under the leadership of Andy Hul.
