O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

We had not been there in a while mainly because of bad service. Today we decided to give it a try. Our service was not terrible but it was not good either. The main issue was drink refills. The entire time there we were only refilled once. That did not come until half way through the meal. We waited a while for the food to arrive. While there we had the luxury of watching the bartender take selfies and surf or text on her phone. Other waitress that came into the bar area also pulled out their phones. Never saw anyone that appeared to be a manager. Overall food was good and service was marginal. If you are on the job, your personal phone should never come out.

I was contacted within a few days of my original review from the customer service area in this company. The lady I spoke with was great! She listened to my concerns and the company made things right. I will try the restaurant again after they have some time to get it together. I was impressed by their follow up!

I have to say after trying this place for the first time, I am thoroughly pleased. Apparently they have a weekend special of prime rib for two that runs $ 12.99/person. It comes with an appetizer and 1 side each. It is totally worth it as their prime rib is pretty great. It’s nice and juicy and full of flavor.

We decided to give them another chance and chose the brunch today. After waiting over 40 min for our food, we were disappointed. I ordered the sausage and egg conglomeration that was over cooked and dry. My husband had the eggs Benedict that were almost like a well known food chains mc muffin Our waitress was very good, however!

Was not busy at all. Figured maybe because it was only 6pm. Sat right down and was waited in promptly. Drinks and app came. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip. The chips were fried in really old oil!!! NASTY! Daughter had carrot sticks as a side. They were limp and really dehydrated! NASTY!!! Our dinner were adequate but nothing special. Won’t be coming back

I give 4 stars because although we eat here at least once a week and are delighted 9 times out of 10, there is that one time we end up a bit disappointed. I like the cedar plank salmon and my hubby likes the fried cod and jumbo shrimp. They have had their problems with wait staff.

Meh. This O’Chilapplebradygens is indistinguishable from any other standard American fair with local tchotchkes/​photos/​murals hanging on the wall. The food was just average as was the service. The majority of the food seem to be fried, but they have decent sides. I did kind of like the pot pie, but it is nothing to write home about.
They advertised it on the web, as well as in pictures on the building and on the table menu that they had pumpkin pie, yet the waitress informed me they did not have pumpkin pie and wasn’t sure why they advertised it.
The restaurant wasn’t overly clean, which is a surprise given there weren’t very many people eating there.
This place is very much like the Black-​eyed Pea, but with a few fewer old people. Given the extremely high volume of similar restaurants with better food, I’m surprised this place is still open. Not the worst experience, and I wouldn’t refuse to eat there again but I highly doubt that I’m going to be setting out to eat here.

Food was below average to average at best. Ordered a bacon Mac & cheese and it had no bacon in it. Manager was informed of this and he offered a pie as compensation. Service was good, brought out in a timely manner. Ordered beer but large beers had 2 inches of foam on them. Overall this was an average place.

Our waitress was great. The fried pickle chips were a little salty other than that they were good. I ordered the country fried steak, the gravy had no taste to it very bland. The dinner rolls were excellent. The shrimp and grits were great as well very tasty. I would go back again for the service.

It was my first time here and the good was yummy and great service. The general manager brought out our food and the server was very kind. We went on a Wednesday so they had FREE slices of pie for everyone! It’s a limited time offer but it was so nice they had that available.

They must be under new management. The service is much improved over the last time we were here. I had the new chicken pot pie — it was good, VERY hot inside. It burned my mouth a little, but that’s fine… way better than cold for sure! Thanks Shay!

For years I was sorely disappointed. With our local O’Charleys. Deciding to improve my health I started looking for places with heart healthy entrée’s. I have them my first visit in a couple years. The service, selection and food was excellent. I have been there several times since and enjoyed each meal. The 550 calorie entrée’s are no comprise. Go, eat, and enjoy.

Ate there last night and have been paying for it ever since. My stomach is so angry with me. I ordered a burger, which you would think would be hard to mess up. It took three tries before it came anywhere near okay — first there was a sopping wet bun (seriously, I think someone sat it in a puddle), then it was so undercooked I couldn’t eat it and after they remade it, they forgot some of the toppings. The waiter was really nice until the end when it took forever to get our check, but I think he had just written us off at that point. Never again.
