Meet the Business Owner
Dr. David H.
Business Owner
Dr. David F. Halpern has been practicing in Columbia since 1982. He received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Franklin and Marshall College in 1972 and earned a Master’s Degree (M.S.) from Rutgers Graduate School in 1974. He received his DMD from Farleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1978 and completed a general practice residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Dr. Halpern was the 2009 – 2010 President of the second largest dental organization in the world entitled the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He earned Fellowship in the AGD in 1985 which involved participating in over 500 hours of continuing educational activities. He is currently pursuing his Mastership which involves an additional 600 hours of education including 400 hours of participatory educational experience. Locally, he has been active in the betterment of the health and well-being of the residents of Howard County. Dr. Dave’s interests include music of all genres, hiking, and fly-fishing.
