History

Established in 1973.

Started in 1973, as a result of a promise made by parents to their children, that they would have a swimming pool at their new home when they moved from New Jersey to South Carolina. Unfortunately, in South Carolina, the parents were unable to find a company that could build a pool that would match the quality of their previous pool. A call was placed to Anthony Pools, the world’s largest pool builder at the time, a business agreement was made, and Crystal Pools was born.

Since that time, Crystal Pools has built thousands of in-​ground, gunite pools throughout the Carolinas and Georgia. During that time, we have become an industry leader in innovative finishes, construction techniques, renovation, and concrete resurfacing. We have been at the forefront of the development of cleaning systems, and presently hold patents, and have patents pending, on cleaning systems, filtration systems, and safe cleaning main drains.
