I take the munchkins here quite frequently and I my local dive shop uses this place for scuba classes, so I’m actually here quite a bit. The facilities are great. Always clean. The staff is pretty friendly. As far as a place to take the munchkins for swimming I like it. However, it doesn’t get a 5 for a couple of reasons. Their hours are pretty wonky. ALWAYSCALL before showing up or risk being disappointed! We’ve got a membership to the Columbia Association, but it seems that most of the time during a weekend they’re actually doing their splashdown stuff which requires an extra few bucks upon entry. They also keep the pools a few degrees cooler than necessary. In the secondary pool it’s downright cold sometimes. Pop in and take a swim.

Ok so — I got a groupon for this place, admission for 5. I brought my nieces and nephews. The good: the slides, diving board, and rope swing keep kids occupied for a while, at least 3 hours. There’s also another pool in the next room where people can just swim and it’s a bit lower key. Looks like a great place to have a kids party year round. The bad/annoying: this place is hella unorganized. They are open 1 – 6 on Saturdays and we got there at one. There were no introductions to let us know that we cannot just get in the pool, we had to wait until the swim class exited the pool(which was after 1pm for the record. This place has a lot of rules, but no place that communicates them. So my kids got whistled at(by the life guards and other staff) a bunch of times because they didn’t know where to go or how to start having a good time. Also, at about 1:30, the staff came and told us our bench/table was reserved for a birthday party. In fact, 4⁄6 of the tables were reserved leaving us general public to share 2 benches. That was kinda dumb.

Not for intermediate swimmers Staff was nice and friendly BUT options are limited for swimmers who are to big for the kiddie pool but do not feel comfortable diving in the deep end from a rope or the diving board. My kids(who are average swimmers) like to play around in the 4⁄5 feet water and that is not happening in this place. Went during the snack&swim play time(which I think was rather high-$ 16 per kid not being a Columbia Ass. member) and the snack bar had only chips(3 kinds) ice-cream and soda. What kind of snack bar is that? They also ran out of change on a day that schools were closed and should have expected they would be busy so could not buy the limited snacks they had and ended up leaving cause kids were hungry. Not going back

What can I say. has a water slide with tube and 2 seperate pools. Only down side is that the swim team takes up most of the pool time there
