The dishwasher I purchased from Bray and Scarf has failed 3 times over the past three years, and each time it has taken over a month to get the unit repaired via the extended warranty I purchased from Bray and Scarf. Their service department has prolonged repair times due to lost orders, failure to follow through on scheduled appointments, and a consistent 2+ week waiting period for initial service assessments. If you want to be frustrated, deal with service representatives that don’t care, and be without a working appliance for a month or more whenever your unit fails then Bray and Scarf is the business for you.

Second time ordering from these guys and both times the sales and delivery was excellent. Even when we apparently ordered the wrong fridge(too deep for our kitchen) the delivery guys Andre and Alberto went through the trouble of putting back our old removed unit unitl the replacement could be sourced. When I spoke to the sales rep, they said no second delivery charge for the new one. Very fair prices, good overall service(though the assigned salesperson as mentioned in other reviews is a bit annoying) and great product delivery puts these guys over the top from Home Depot.

No one in the store will help you if your original sales guy is not in. They feign ignorance and do not understand the difference between a door and a whole appliance. When you call the Service Center, you are connected with someone who barely speaks English and also cannot grasp the difference between damage to a door or a handle and the entire appliance. You will be on the phone with them for 45 – 60 min, and will not get help. You will likely have to call another contractor to get your work done, even though you paid for a 5 year warranty. Do not buy from this place.

We bought a five year parts and labor extended warranty for $ 420 from them for the washer/dryer we bought here. The tray which dispenses the laundry detergent broke. Apparently that isn’t covered by the warranty!

Stay away!!! There is a reason why they are cheaper — you end of paying for it in the end. They offer rebates, etc. will low ball but at the end of the day, rules and regulations are so «confining» it creeps on their ability to provide any sort of customer service. Spend the extra few dollars and stick with the«big box» stores that provide better customer service.

They don’t deliver on Mondays or weekends, and it’s so awesome to have to take a day off work to wait for a washer/dryer to be delivered. On top of the regular fee, they charged us extra to move the washer and dryer up the stairs, which was fair enough – except they dinged and scratched up our new walls. Thanks for that. Luckily our wonderful builder is coming back in to plaster and re-paint(Thanks Bozzuto!) for free. They didn’t bring all of the equipment that they needed to install the washer/dryer…so it’s still not functional. Guy at the store said he was working on it, but he didn’t call back yesterday. He’s not in today. So… guess our dirty clothes will continue to wait… and wait… They left the serial number off the promised rebate, which we can’t seem to find. Husband called to ask the store where to find it. Honestly, buying our house was easier and less stressful. We went with them in the first place because of their great warranty – but now I’m skeptical it will even be honored.
