Mopar engines stock, mild or over the top! Need a new engine? We can do that too. NO crate engines here! We will build something just for you for the street or strip. We specialize in monster stroker motors & street blowers.

How about some repair work? We are your one stop shop for all your repair needs. We can handle anything from oil changes, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, rear ends, ignition systems, head porting, Etc. We also do complete restorations from top to bottom.

Owned & Operated by Gary Box, Local Racing Legend & Engine Builder in Cleveland, Ohio. Box Performance is the life-​long dream of Gary Box and his son, Cory Box.

Racing and building fast engines has been a part of GARY BOX’s life ever since he was a teenager. Gary Box is the original Street Outlaw. Way before the OK Boys discovered Youtube! As a junior at Westlake High School in 1970, at 16 years old, he built his first engine, a W30 400 ci motor; for his ’66 442 Olds and it went 12.20’s at the dragstrip. As the years went on, Gary became known for his string of ’67 — 69 Camaros, all of which had big block motors, all of which were painted Black and all of which were «Bad to the Bone». Gary would race at Norwalk and people would follow him home from the track and buy the engine right out of the car. Gary would build another seemingly overnight. And that is how be started building engines for others.

Gary Box has been building engines since high school. He has owned and restored over 35 cars of his own over the years. He loves speed and horsepower. He won numerous awards over the years including Fastest Street Car in Ohio in 2001. He is currently driving a 1965 Corvette called the Boxvette.
