This is a nice park and has some well maintained trails around the lake. I like biking around this park because it has some semblance of a wooded path on one side of the lake. Just recently we were biking around and caught a glimpse of some wood ducks, a muskrat and a turtle. While there make sure to see the WWII howitzer cannon. It’s my sons favorite attraction.
During the rainy season the shelter can turn into a bit of a large pond due to the low lands, but we’ve attended weddings here and those turned out nice. The playground is pretty simplistic compared to other parks in the area, but has all the basics for fun.
