History

Established in 1999.

The business was started in 1999 by Ken Parsons. Ken started the business after working for a local gutter company while on summer break from teaching. He always loved the idea of owning a business, and happened to like the trade and excel at it very quickly. Ken’s brother Ryan Parsons got involved in the business in 2002, after the dotcom start-​up he worked at after college went belly up. Ken Parsons and Ryan Parsons took both their college degrees and threw them right in the gutter!

The Brothers worked together building «The Brothers that just do Gutters» from the ground up. They now run multiple crews, have divisions in New York, Connecticut, Virginia and New Jersey. Their goal is to franchise their business in 2012.

Ryan Parsons is the Chief Solutionist for The Brothers that just do Gutters. Together with his brother, Ken Parsons, they have built their gutter-​only contractor service into a franchise with multiple locations in different states. Ryan oversees the marketing of the franchise as well as the management, training, and support of new franchisees.
