Top prices on scrap metal, always.
Western Scrap Processing has been buying and processing scrap metal since the 1920s. We are proud to remain a family business serving Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Our services include containerization, hauling, on-site preparation and removal, making us one of the of the most well-equipped, well-staffed scrap facilities in the state.
We are a major supplier and purchaser of metals on both the domestic and international markets. Because of our large volume, we remain environmentally aware and screen all raw products to prevent contaminants or other hazardous materials from re-entering the recycling stream.
Products we buy and sell include:
* Aluminum
* Copper
* Brass
* Stainless Steel
* Ferrous Commodities
In addition to processing metals, our commercial services include mobile shear crane service, demolition projects, machine, welding and fabrication shops and more. We also have collection containers available in sizes from 2 – 50 yard capacity.

History
Established in 1910.
Western Scrap Processing (WSP) was established in 1910, and has been in business over 100 years. We are very competitive and pay the highest price for your recyclables. WSP purchases a wide assortment of items, including electronics, lead acid batteries, aluminum, cars, copper, brass, stainless, high temp alloys, gold bearing materials, precious metals, steel, catalytic converters and many other types of recyclables.
The company also has a commercial division, supplying containers from 2 yards up to 100 yards. WSP has the ability to handle the small job or the large demolition job requiring mobile shearing abilities. Among the company’s many equipment investments is a sophisticated hand held metal analyzer that breaks down the specific alloys within a piece of metal, allowing for the proper identification of the metal.
Please feel free to call us for your recycling needs.
