The New Canvas

From booking my consultation appointment to my first session, Steve and Betina made it an easy relaxed process. I’m very happy that I went to The New Canvas for my first tattoo removal. Their office is super clean and their prices are affordable for just about anyone. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Colorado area!

I’ve been going to The New Canvas sporadically for a little over a year to remove a a horrendously done tattoo. I looked into several places in the local area and even as far as Denver to have it removed before my wedding, and the technology TNC won me over. When I followed up with questions and concerns, they answered them as well as they could blindly, but encouraged me to come in for a free consultation so that they could assess everything before promising results.
The locations is quiet, incredibly clean, and very pleasant. I was greeted very warmly and they took the time to thoroughly examine the tattoo and the concerns that I had. There was no pressure to buy a package or treatment. I opted to start treatment that day and continued for a few more, but got caught up in wedding planning and never completed the treatment. I did, however, go back a few weeks ago, and they remembered me and my treatment plan right off the bat. The facility is STILL immaculate and professional.
I will not trust anyone else to remove this hideous tattoo, as the technology is state-​of-​the-​art and the owners are incredibly well-​versed on it. Unlike a lot of facilities, they are trained on the machine that they use, which is specifically for tattoo removal and does not double as hair remover.
Aside from everything else that has been previously mentioned, and perhaps most important to some, the actual process is minimal discomfort at most. They use a machine to cool the entire area before treatment, and treatment itself feels like a series of small rubber bands snapping at the area. Of course, some areas are more sensitive than others, but for me, it was nothing. They also take care to cover the area with a numbing gel and antiseptic, and go over aftercare instructions with you. They also encourage you to call or e-​mail with any questions or concerns, and are great about getting back to you.
I cannot recommend them more highly.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and they are very friendly! I was nervous going in for the first treatment but they helped me relax and I look forward to going to see my new friends! They definitely know what they are doing! And it shows that they enjoy helping people.

I went to The New Canvas for the first time today and used a Groupon deal for my first tattoo removal treatment. The owners did not create any unrealistic expectations about the whole process, which I really appreciate — they basically said everyone’s skin is different and their guess is that my particular tattoo will take anywhere from 6 – 12 treatments, but we won’t know exactly how many treatments it will take until we complete the process. This is an honest assessment and those are the most valuable. Their office was very clean and well decorated, which was a nice touch. Although they partially numbed the area with very cold air (and possibly a numbing agent?) before starting, the treatment did hurt a bit, but they gave me a stress ball to squeeze to distract myself and it was over very quickly, so it wasn’t unbearable by any means. I highly recommend talking to them if you’re unsure about getting a tattoo removed, and highly recommend them for the service if you decide to go for it.

Steve and Betina are simply amazing. I’d compare their service to the first time you ever had ice cream as a kid. Everything goes smooth each and every time and they are more than willing to accommodate to your schedule.
I had to move during my treatment and they went through the trouble of researching a new provider at my new location. How awesome is that? It is almost as awesome as drinking that first beer at your first high school party and seeing all the cheerleaders dancing on the table kind of awesome.
If you want your tattoo removed, go here. Don’t look anywhere else. You can’t beat their service or pricing.

I visited The New Canvas because of a Groupon deal, and Betina and Steve were awesome. They’re very professional, super friendly, they put me at ease during each of my tattoo removal sessions, and I got the results I wanted. I’m glad they are offering additional services such as the teeth whitening, because I would love to continue to do business with them.

I also started with the living social deal and I have had a GREAT experience. Im in the process of getting my tattoo removed and they are very profession, very clean, and super kind. I moved to Denver but I can’t leave them! It’s worth the trip for me and I look forward to every visit.

This is by far the most unprofessional, unorganized and disgusting establishment I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I went in to have my inch long and previously treated tattoo removed. I was told that it would only take 1 – 2 treatments, so the best option for me financially would be to pay for each session and not opt for the discounted package deal. 6 treatments and close to $ 400 (not including tip) later, when I am eligible for «free» touch ups, the owner calls me to reschedule my next appointment because THEY had a scheduling conflict. There was confusion over dates, which resulted in name calling from the owner. When I called to confront him on his inappropriate behavior and unprofessionalism and to explain my confusion (because their automated appointment system is sub-​par), I was then screamed at and verbally abused and told to take my business elsewhere. No apologies or explanations have been given since. They have absolutely no concept of customer service or good business practices and the owner is a loose cannon and the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

My wife strong-​armed me into going in with her for the teeth whitening. Instant results — now all the ladies are after me with my great movie star smile.

I found the New Canvas on Living Social. They were able to get me in the same day I called them. Their facility is clean and professional. Steve was very kind and provided plenty of information on how things work. I was in and out without any issues and the process was relatively painless. I really recommend this place, the prices are great and I have no complaints.
